The time to save Brussels' last green spaces is now!
And we need your help to make it happen!
In 2019 in the Netherlands with Urgenda, in 2023 in Belgium with the "Climate" Case and this year at the European Court of Human Rights against Switzerland... ... courts have already condemned governments for not doing enough to tackle climate change. In this dynamic, we have launched WeAreNature, a Brussels 'climate case' that aims to save the last remaining marshes, woods and valleys in the capital, which are under constant threat from building projects of all kinds. And yet the housing crisis continues to worsen! We are calling for clear regulation of the property market, AND the protection of nature.
It's only by joining forces that we'll be able to give the case sufficient weight in court. More than 1,000 of us have already signed a mandate, and it costs nothing and involves no risk. Help us by signing up too! Target: 2000.

Why is this important? Because these last spaces are a refuge for Brussels' biodiversity, because they help to maintain livable temperatures in the city in summer, because they absorb water during heavy rainfall, because they are important for the mental health of the people who walk through them... There are many reasons, and we all benefit in one way or another from the services provided by these spaces.
Thank you for your support and let's go, it's now or never!
