17000£ 😵💫 That’s why I paid less than 10000£ more and bought a B9,5
ОтветитьDid Audi fix these issues with the B9.5?
ОтветитьFor this engine what is the piston need to be a TDC ??
Ответить17k . Wtf .... its a RS so well charge them a bomb. This is what mechanics are like . People need to think b4 they buy a car . Buy a car in which u can get parts from a scrapyard easy .
ОтветитьHaters on Audi. Don't let these videos put you off. I'm not implying that issues don't exist but if you look at the percentage of vehicles on the road compared to these repairs that cost '£17,000', you'll find it's marginal. This is clickbait and scaremongering. Every manufacturer has problems/issues. These cars have their necks rung. Bad luck if you get a bad used one.
ОтветитьWaaaay too early for sensors to fail AUDI !
ОтветитьThese new 2.9 twin turbo motors make the old 2.7 bi-turbo look like a pleasure to work on...
ОтветитьI don't own an Audi, but I have watched a few of your great videos with you and your friend and have a serious man crush. Joking aside, your professionalism, skill, and knowledge are superb. I think a lot of folk are beginning to realise that locating a specialist is far better than trusting a main dealership a lot of the time
ОтветитьI was driving it normally “your honour” 😂😂
ОтветитьI have a rs4 avant with 40.000 miles still has original front rotors, runs sweet perfect very fast beast, cat s from co part, I have sorted minor front splitter damage could have repaired but replaced with Audi new parts, pics to prove, have run it for last 5 years awesome fun with it, it’s a must drive it to take it in, guaranteed drive and buy, it’s due engine service and trans oil change, OZ 20 inch wheels on it and the original set in near knew condition, will come with it , £18000 will buy it, I picked it up at 20k and never once launched it it a hate of mine, if you respect it it will look after you 👍
Ответить47K miles, yes it’s time to change the engine. Fuck me
ОтветитьNice job, happy owner 🤔🤔😊
ОтветитьChange ur damn oil
ОтветитьMy Audi A5 (B8, 2011) had a Banner battery from the factory. I think the Banner battery is a valid alternative for this car if it has the proper specs and has been coded properly. Banner also has an official BEM manufactory code from VAG.
ОтветитьAfter the battery, why wouldn't you check the fuel delivery system first? Plugged fuel filter, bad fuel pump... etc. etc. etc.
ОтветитьWhere is the next video, if Audi says it needs a new engine it does they are the experts. you could buy another same car for less than 17 grand plus fitting
ОтветитьLooks like the engine is coming out anyways
Ответитьremove the loom from the engine? yea nah, just crush it and get a Japanese car!
ОтветитьBefore watching this channel I loved always to have audi a6 or A7 or a5 but now think god that I don't have😅
ОтветитьWhat tablet are you using with the vcds?
ОтветитьLegend mate
ОтветитьGerman engineering 🤷♂️ suppose it’s the vorsprung duch tecknik😂
ОтветитьI've had my audi A5 b8,5 3.0 tdi 245 quattro from brand new, and now after 270.000km I started looking at replacing the chain (preventatively) and audi quoted me 10.000 euros, where Darkside quoted me half that. Prolly about time to sell it to some young lad and buy a 2018-2019 S7 (the last years where they put in 4.0 tfsi, which not only sounds amazing, but also easily goes to 550-570bhp 800-830nm within stage 1, which is the safezone limit for the s-tronic of 1000nm)
ОтветитьBanner are very Good batterie broooo
ОтветитьMoney Pit 👎
ОтветитьWhat hand held PC are you using in this video to run your VCDS? I like that, way better than dragging out my laptop.
ОтветитьI think I'll stick with the older 80/90 audi
ОтветитьI phoned Audi Main dealer regarding a suspension issue on my RS4 .. when I said I think it’s a DRC problem she replied.. What’s that … 😮
ОтветитьFajne odcinki I rzeczowe .....widac polscy potrafia .... pozdrawiam
ОтветитьHe needs to move to the US !!!!!
Ответитьgood to you! you are doing very well👍tell me the approximate resource of the 2.9 biturbo engine
ОтветитьIt redlines at 5,500rpm!? Is that it??? Seems low.
ОтветитьWho the hell designs a Vee engine with the exhausts in the middle of the vee and inlets on the outside? God forbid that I ever buy a VW Audi, just because you can design it like this doesn't make it a good idea. EDIT. I just watched a (presumably German) guy with his V12 Panzer engine outside his garage, that has the exhausts in the middle of the vee, maybe that's where Audi got the idea from LMAO.
ОтветитьSubscribed
ОтветитьI think the tune caused timing and fuel ratio issues which fowled and shorted various electrical parts.
ОтветитьWhich tuning company did he use?
Ответитьdoes this car have an aftermarket exhaust? sounds really loud
ОтветитьCustomer: my engine doesnt start
Dealers: you need a new engine
Why not check sensors with a scope?
Can’t wait to get my S4 done end of year 😁
ОтветитьAudi przewaga dzięki technice 🤑
ОтветитьReally loving your videos guys. Super informative and well made!
ОтветитьSeth Rogen's double life as an Audi master mechanic in the UK.
Nice job on the accent Seth
Remind me of cheap chinese joy which breaks after a few days and are not supposed to be repaired but just thrown away.

Thank you sir.
what happened with this one?
Ответить17,000 pound engine replacement? That's NUTS!!!
ОтветитьPeople are funny. If you google (insert manufacturer here) bad engine, you'll find exactly what you were looking for. The amount of comments of how terrible Audi is, is laughable. Every manufacturer has and will continue to have plaguing issues with engines.
ОтветитьHi.
You’ve a great platform here.
I watch all your videos and you and your friend in the workshop are unique and rare to find as genuine , fantastic mechanics.
What happened about the defective engine from this Audi ?
Are you following it up ?
Thanks for sharing all your videos.
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍
top bloke knows his stuff more then Audi does
