The old OP's have already shot up on avg $1k but I have seen some offered at $8k or close to $3k over retail. Especially the red grape dial. Smh.

Mike, I love watching these market recaps. Rolex has become a disappointment to most collectors at this point. With the horsepower of Watchbox and Govberg as brand, it would be great to climb the ladder and interview the Rolex decision makers to understand their strategy. I’ve thought about climbing this ladder myself and just berating the company but alas, I have a business to run.

I think it would make great content and most would rather just hear “don’t bother” than the dog and poney show that the company (Rolex not Watchbox) is currently putting consumers through. Cheers

Well done Mike......you never used the word ‘super’ once!! A great improvement and excellent content. Good to hear some mention of the smurf too...it’s discontinuance seems to have largely gone unnoticed by the market so far but I have seen prices jump by over 10% in last 2 weeks. Good news as I own one.

I've heard the Yellow O.P. refered to as the "Lakers" yellow. L.A. Lakers Yellow and to be honest it's almost the exact shade of yellow

To be honest with some crazy price hikes on the discontinued hulk, it makes 2020 an all-time high for inflation, lunacy, and people who are losing their minds because of lock downs!

I honestly don’t understand this manic hype around Rolex watches. There are many watch brands that produce better watches than Rolex, that yuh can actually get hold of and enjoy, without paying thousands of dollars over retail.

And by the way, the new OP’s are a) too large for such a simple watch with no bezel and b) the new colours are crass and gaudy. They cheapen the offering
