Then Sam survives a second sinking and you think "This cat has the most amazing luck ever!" But then, after he survives a third vessel sinking, you start to wonder, "Is this cat sinking ships?"....no wonder they retired him after that, he couldn't be trusted on another ship.

Cuddles, too, and warm winter naps, it’s hard to sleep without that relaxing purring (which also speeds up healing for humans, cats and other mammals). Yay for Unsinkable Sam for his amazing survival ability. I’m glad he had a happy retirement before his nine lives got used up, three of them were used for shipwrecks. Cats are one of the best things ever to happened to us humans, right up there with pain-free modern dentistry and warm showers.
