I dont think those are a line of custodes, thats probably the psycker sacrifices to keep the throne going in the emperor picture.
ОтветитьI believe that is the true image of the emperor.
ОтветитьI love these videos lol
ОтветитьThe Mist, I believe, was a Stephen King short story. A fog descends, and a group of Humans took refuge in a supermarket. Horrible monsters seem to walk the Earth.
ОтветитьRobots had some funky rules. In one variant they had to program their orders. You jot down orders one, two or three turns in advance. The smarter the robot is, the fewer moves you need to think ahead.
ОтветитьEnslavers in Gladius floats. They patrol around archeotech sites. They had a power to mentally control low-morale troops and were pretty beefy. A company of troops could take one on.
A lot of these neutral xenos listed were not intended to be controlled by the players. They are just part of the world. The ref would control them as part of the scenario. You might be fighting when these buggers try to break in. Or a bit of random space dogs are circling around.
I thought they were souls being led to the emperor in the background
ОтветитьWe did have a Terminator set in the future war.
Terminator Salvation,.The one with Christian Bale as John Connor. It is the film where the famous audio clip of him going off on a crew member is from.
The movie is not terrible but it was not great.(It's better than Genysis or Dark Fate)
I think in the first image the line of people walking towards him are the psykers. 1,000 sacrificed each day to keep his mind alive:)
ОтветитьMy 10 y o son: "I could just pull the plug and he'd die."
ОтветитьI think space orks get their glasses from CLWAAAGH!s accessories.
Ответить80s warhammer is so much better than nu-hammer.
ОтветитьI wish there was a serious discussion of the old Warhammer art. This just feels pointless and a bit rude to the wonderful artists that created it
ОтветитьI’m also now dead
Ответить"Youre mother was a snowblower" lol
ОтветитьI think third edition was peak 40k Grimdark it hooked me and my friend and to this day it still has some of the best art works ever made in it. When looking back at Rouge Trader it needs to be remembered that it didnt start out as anything other than a board game, later on they used it to insert the idea of Warhammer into it they were looking for something to attach warhammer to and asked the creator of Rouge Trader and he agreed to it and thought it was a good idea.
ОтветитьIn the first picture, the line of people are not guards, they are those 1000 unfortunate psykers whom the emperor devours each day to nourish his mind.
ОтветитьI don't know about the ork's hat, but I do know his name. Gunhead.
ОтветитьEven John Blanche the artist for the most common image of the emperor sat on the throne said that one is an imposter for pilgrims to visit, that the real emperor looks more like the one shown here hidden in a backroom hooked up to all sorts of strange devices
ОтветитьSeeing the two juggers , l get a flashback of ice planet lego wheels and a 1 to 1 snow vehicle from late 80s, with added spoler and gun mounts at the back. The left side jugger to me is white/blue/black and orange and the right one is US Fanta orange with blue elements.
ОтветитьOLDHAMMER STRIKES HARD!
ОтветитьYES ... In the movie "Critters" , one of the Bounty hunters took the Face of a "Rock Star" from a band on MTV... (When they Actually played Videos... LOL!),
they had intercepted a cable TV feed and saw the Video and copied the Dudes face. Beforehand, the Face looked just like this... A blank , clay face looking mold ..
Good call !!
THE NEW SEASONS OF RED DWARF (XI & XII, AND "THE PROMISED LAND")
AREN'T BAD......
HOWEVER..... THE SEASON
WITH THEM BEING "BACK IN THE RED".... WHERE THEY HAVE CACHANSKI AND THE NANO THINGIES HAVE RESURRECTED THE CREW... AND RIMMER LISTER CAT AND KRYTON AND CACHANSKI ARE
"INCARCERATED" / IN THE BRIG... I THINK ITS SEASON IX OR X... ARE SMEGGIN' AWFUL!! THOSE SEASONS ARE JUST EFFING UNWATCHABLE...
LIKE THE WRITERS JUST "PULLED A DR. WHO"
AKA- PULLED A "JODY'
Stormboyz were in first edition. Originally, they were actually khorne worshippers.
ОтветитьThe first unidentified recording of an early tau battle suit.
Is there an historical record for a commander ‘o dangling groin protector or how ever that might be in tau language.
The custodes you say are walking away are more likely psykers walking towards to be sacrificed.
ОтветитьSo you enjoy the veiny ball detail in the artwork?
ОтветитьYes please to the rogue trader kit bashes!!!!!
ОтветитьId love to know where to find these art pieces online, anytime I try to look it up I can't find any collections.
Ответитьgreat
please do a 40K graffiti video!
funny you mentioned shuriken cannons in the first pic, cuz back in those days, humanity could take shuriken cannons
ОтветитьI do kinda like that goofy British punk aesthetic that rogue trader had. Don’t get me wrong, 40ks vibe nowadays is great, but I miss the almost comedic stuff in the older versions. Instant subscription
ОтветитьThe man with a mask is actually a representation of someone wearing syn-skin, a skin that covers the whole body, and provides protection from vacuum and harmful gases. The game was much more RPG-like back in those days, and there was a whole lot of sci-fi equipment your characters could get, something not allowed with the standardization of armies to official miniatures nowadays.
ОтветитьIf you're over a certain age you will know that an awful lot of GW stuff is derivative.
ОтветитьActually Christopher lee was singing teololololo song in the mountain pass, tere is a fantastic viedo in YT showing how perfectly his lips sync with the song.
ОтветитьI’d say the emps for being over twice the age of what an Egyptian mummy is now he’s looking pretty sharp
Ответитьwhat if the badge is supposed to say fya meaning fire but pronounced oddly
Ответить
