One term I've learned about is "stimming." Stimming, or self-stimulatory behavior, is something many autistic individuals engage in. For me, it often manifests as rocking in my chair while working at my desk or pacing around the house when I'm feeling agitated.

But here's the thing – stimming isn't something to be ashamed of or hidden away. It's a natural response that helps regulate emotions and sensory experiences. And I know I'm not alone in this.
