imagine if Toyota is planning on replacing all vehicles with crown vehicles to increase price.
ОтветитьRav 4 , better fuel eco, more practical, more cargo space, more space rear seats
ОтветитьDoes the Signia have a spare tire? I have been checking Toyota websites and can't seem to find an answer. No spare tire may turn off quite a few potential buyers.
ОтветитьYall should do the Mitsubishi Outlander Vs the Nissan Rouge
ОтветитьSignia should compare with NX or RX rather than RAV4
ОтветитьToyota should fire whoever priced Signia 50k+. It's crazy..
ОтветитьMore cargo space on the Crown….. but no spare????? 😢
ОтветитьI love toyota. If I book one today it'll get delivered when my daughter turns 16 😂
FYI, she's 9 now 😩
I would say compare the rav4 prime with the signia. Same money. Curious what the scores would be then.
ОтветитьSignia has more rear leg room than the RAV4 … less headroom tho.. just get the specs of A Crown sedan .. would’ve been more accurate than the unofficial stuff
ОтветитьGreat comparison video its just what I was looking for.
ОтветитьThe Crown is not an SUV or Crossover....
It is a Wagon.
I couldn't find in your video the very important difference on Ground Clearance...!
One thing with cargo volume is the signia is longer (like a trunk) and the rav 4 is shorter and more upright.
I think most people will find the longer space better as it is “safer” to use that cargo volume.
I bet if you get all 37 cubic feet in the back of the rav 4 and open the back something is going to fall out.
I wish they would breakdown the storage capacity by seat height and total…I rarely, if ever, see anyone stack things above the seat height in any car due to visibility…Love the Crown Signia, but hope they offer smaller tire options…not a fan of the low profile trend that has permeated every car these days…not necessary and serves absolutely no purpose other than being a trend.
ОтветитьWhy bigger wheels is better? Harsher ride, less fuel efficient, more expensive, in less then two years I pinched 2 of them. Manufactures making better design, so they look better to charge extra grand.
ОтветитьTOYOTA DONATED TO TRUMP LOOK IT UP
ОтветитьToyota Crown Signia - Over $51,000 NOT including the "stealership" markup, no HUD, and it looks more like a wagon than an SUV.
You would be better off buying an NX 350h.
51k...you could get a Rav4 prime for that...I don't see any reason to go signia. Rav4 XSE or limited Hybrid is perfect.
ОтветитьThe RAV4 is very noisy. I am looking forward to driving the Signia to see if it is Lexus Quiet. I drove the Venza a few years back and liked it but decided on the 4Runner TRD Pro. The 4Runner is a great car but the gas mileage sucks so I’m re-thinking the Venza upgraded to the Signia.
ОтветитьThis video is more about comparing a Japan-built Toyota (Crown Signia) vs. USA-built Toyota (RAV4) quality than the actual vehicles.
ОтветитьNice review and comparison, however, I think comparing the Crown Signia to the Lexus 350h would be the one to review.
ОтветитьJust got back from testing both. If you compare specs head to head, its hard to beat the Rav4. However theres just something about the looks and interior of the Signia that is hard to measure. Has that overall "premium" feel to the Signia. Didn't like the Signia at first but found that the Copper color really shows off the design well.
ОтветитьHow much of difference if the tested RAV4 was limited model?
ОтветитьWhere are the headlights on the Crown Signia, those thin slits or the circular lights underneath?
ОтветитьLove the signia. Way nicer than my 2024 rav4 xle hybrid. Too bad i dont have extra money for the crown. 😢
ОтветитьI had an Avalon limited and traded for a RAV4 XLE Limited. I had decided to trade for a new RAV4 Limited because I missed some features. Drove a Lexus Rx350, that was a mistake. I really wanted to buy it, but fully equipped hybrid was over 60k. Local dealer finally got a Signia, it’s the best of both worlds for me. Love my Bronze Age beauty and don’t miss the HUD for the price difference.
ОтветитьDoes the Crown sit lower to the ground? Looks more like a station wagon rather than a SUV
ОтветитьIm glad i saw this as i am currently shopping for a new toyota. I love the plush features of the crown signia but the two big winners for me on the Rav4 are the open moon roof and cargo space which are thr 2 most important things for me with gas mileage being the next. 😊
ОтветитьI think the RAV4 Prime is a better comparison due to price.
ОтветитьVery interesting an fair points system you have
ОтветитьBoth of these vehicles lose badly in terms of handling, AWD quality and usability, capacity and comfort on long trips, and especially the line-keeping system from SUBARU OUTBACK TOURING (in Toyota you feel like a ping-pong ball - the car is constantly moving from the right to the left side of the line)!!! And Toyota's latest products show that the reliability of this brand is just a myth (in over 500,000 vehicles sold in the US in 2024 the engines will have to be replaced, and many others have paint and rust problems).
ОтветитьThe Signia looks modern - the RAV looks dated, inside and out. RAV will be new soon, so it will be interesting to make the comparison next year.
ОтветитьNot sure why you are cheer leading for this piece of sxxt.... my 2024 RAV4 just a total disappointment, noisy engine, hard trim everywhere in the car, subpar power steering, unbearable slow acceleration, not that of good of gas mileage... list goes on and on.
ОтветитьThank you but can you compare XLE crown .I’m most likely getting their eCVT crossover vs Honda..But I’m leaning towards RAV4
ОтветитьMy wife and I are older.
At the end of the day we will choose the Crown AWD for my wife.
My pickup is a 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab 6’ bed with the premium and technology pkgs. We use our pickup for work around our property and going on Forest and Service Roads.
The Crown AWD will be our road car for long trips, as well as her car.
I had a 11 Rav 4WD Limited with the 3.5L V6 and the new Rav DIDNT compete because of the fit and finish. It was horrible, so screw the new Rav
I don't get all these number showing in the videos. Please put a label or a description by the numbers that tell us what the number mean every time these numbers show up.
ОтветитьWhat would you pick between the CX50 and the Crown?
ОтветитьI think a more fair comparison would be to compare the RAV4 hybrid XSE to the crown signea XLE.
ОтветитьI will stick with the Highlander. I have a 2019. Absolutely love it
ОтветитьWas undecided between so many cars for so long. I really liked the Signia but was afraid to buy one as i havent seen a single one on the road. However, im deciding to buy one today. Thanks for the video! Not just this one but many others as well
ОтветитьThis was a great comparison video. Make more videos like this.
ОтветитьI just don't understand why Toyota would make cargo capacity 40% less on a 13-imch longer SUV . This is a deal breaker for the Signia.
Ответитьsmaller wheels and plug-in version of Signia, please...
ОтветитьInterior space is deceiving. Rarely do people pack the rear compartment to the ceiling to take advantage of all the space. So footprint usually matters more. The IIHS ratings show the Crown as the safer car. RAV4 is not a IIHS top safety pick.
ОтветитьI'm not sure yet, but I think I like the. 23-24 Venza better than either of these... sort of the best of both worlds, though less cargo space, in that it's just that little bit more compact for urban driving, shorter than the Signia by six inches or so, and it has the lux interior that will still make the Venza great for long road trips.
ОтветитьI was particularly interested in the comparison of the rear cargo space. But the way you presented it was completely useless. !
ОтветитьI feel the higher spec trim Crown doesn't gain enough to bother spending over 50k. The base model would've likely fared the same against the RAV4 for barely more money.
Still, terrific comparo, and you did a terrific job itemizing. I'm kind of shopping both of these at the moment.
Where is the next gen Rav4?
ОтветитьGuys, the Crown Signia rides on much longer wheelbase compared to RAV4, is the ride smoother due to that? You did not seem to mention anything regarding ride smoothness and NVH. RAV4 has a spare tire but the SIgnia does not? Is there a 360 degree view in the Signia or RAV4?
Ответить
