With the price of lumber and plywood today, that ain't cheap! 😮
ОтветитьLol😂
ОтветитьMaybe more money , but looks fun to make
ОтветитьRebel with no riving knife I see.
ОтветитьWould not use that push block on a cut like that - quite the wobble and you just cut into your plywood blocks - have fun replacing those on a regular basis! Gripper has lots of adjustments so that you're stable on your cuts. I don't use them all the time but that's one purchase I don't regret.
ОтветитьPlywood is like $49 my guy
ОтветитьSmart
ОтветитьMy business is going so well I bought (2) of the $60 push blocks. Actually, even if it wasn't, I would not be using my saw the way you do since eventually- it will be bad for business. Stay safe if you can.
Ответитьdo you really even need the trowel? can't you just jig saw out a handle and fasten it to the plywood?
ОтветитьBRILLIANT “
ОтветитьNot the same thing as the gripper, but I have a smaller push block I made with the sandpaper on the bottom and it grips really well. However as a woodworker, make your own handle for goodness sake. 😝 Just joking brother.
ОтветитьGosh idono about this. That sand paper will destroy a blade. And if you ever hit a screw for getting its there would be bad. How about gluing a notch on the back end of that bottom and maybe epoxy tge handle on. Honestly, i think i would just glue a handle, but either way, i would never buy a yellow one. Yours is better.
ОтветитьIf you can't afford a gripper you probably can't afford lumber.
ОтветитьI made an even better push block and it didn't cost me anything. I made my own handle, a couple small pieces of plywood and a 7" piece of 2x4 for the sacrificial block. Instead of sandpaper that can scratch the wood, I screw a piece of wood to the back of the 2x4 to push the item through the saw blade.
Ответитьyou are unsafe as well, Maybe get a zero clearance insert, Just to be safe.
ОтветитьDon’t you need the first one to make the second one? 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьPlywood try a tubafour 😂
ОтветитьI'll just 3d print my own. Less than 10 bucks to make it.😅
ОтветитьAutomatic subscribe. Excellent idea
ОтветитьPlease keep your dangerous hacks away from my house, thanks man
ОтветитьNo thanks! Ill buy the real one.
Ответитьthe sandpaper also sharpens your blade when you cut through it
ОтветитьYou could also use a grout float so it's padded some
ОтветитьI heard someone once say buy the safety equipment push blocks/sticks because you more inclined to use it over scrap wood versions
ОтветитьHobbyist
ОтветитьI don’t like the idea of screws being inside my push block. Just one extra thing you have to consider when setting depth and making cuts.
ОтветитьThat plywood was like $60
