I like Peeblebee I just wish their trackers had UWB support. Hopefully Samsung rolls out an update to support the find my device network in the future. Google releasing a first party tracker would be cool too

I got my hands on the pebblebee wallet tracker and I would advise to stay far away. There were missing features on the box and I reached out to customer support to see what I was missing. I was told the "Will connect to XYZ" means that it WILL be coming sometime in the future, not that it will connect now. I am not dealing with a company that uses shady phrases. I returned it immediately and got the samsung tags and a wallet version made by a dude on etsy. 1 million times better.

I hope Samsung plays nice snd adds their devices to the network! Any chance that'll happen?

The only problem I have with these is that I work with a group of people at my work and 1 guy has an airtag in his wallet so whenever we move from work site to shop or shop to different work site my phone thinks theres a tracker with me

I wish Android/Apple would make it so the find feature uses phones across both platforms. Clearly they can do this if you can see any unit not associated with your devices.

As an advertiser it sounds good; but let's be honest. 1st What is a LOUD siren? can you specify decibels in a reference field?, a card point inside a wallet and the wallet indide a backpack you won't be able to hear it, I have done the experiment, a backpack in my bedroom while I am in the dining room after activating you can't hear anything (Since I knew where it was) I started walking through the whole apt and nothing, only when I entered my bedroom I had to be super quiet and pay attention to see if I could hear anything, I spoke with chipolo already a couple of times about this; but without a db reference is almost impossible to figure it out so unless a LOUD SIREN is loud enough to hear it inside my wallet inside my backpack....mmmm. 2nd You say this is a bluetooth chipolo; but it does not work without the GPS, if I turn off my GPS for whatever reason; but I know my wallet or keys are in my house they should be able to activate with the bluettoth at "let's say" 35 - feet even with the GPS off, if in my house I turn off my GPS my chipolos disconnect, so what does Bluetooth means?. so is that new.? or only words.

Also hope that google find my device app will support the uwb functionality, if not then no company will be able to feature that...also i thought that the unknown tracker thing will mean that all phones (apple or google) will trigger the updating of tracker location, but it seems that it will only notify the phone about a tracker nearby... that's a shame

I want this to put on my ebike in case it gets stolen, and the fact it would alert the thief that one is on my bike negates getting one.. This is disappointing.

Disassemble the item and disable the speakers if your using this for your car.

But wait I'm new into all of this kind of stuff, in my region people tend to use android phones only & I was completely unaware of this Apple product. I don't understand them correctly. Is it possible someone can try to steal my car attaching this product to it & coming to my house while I'm sleeping? or maybe they drop it into my bag and track how I move? stuff like that? that's why Apple + Google had to make the "unknown device alert" ? But doesn't that notify someone stealing you, that the bag he just stole has an airtag in it? I watched another video that said the device starts to ring automatically after some days separated from the original user, does that still happen? what if I use it on my cat, he's lost for days and has this continuously sounding in its collar?

I just received chipolo for Android find.. it hasn't connected or found location for 4 hrs. While my tile pinged 18x on locations.. Doesn't look good for chipolo for me

The only issue with the "unknown tracker following you" feature is that if, for example, I leave one of these in my car as a tracker, or someone steals my wallet with one in it, they may then realise that they're being tracked, which kinda defeats the point a little. I understand why they've done it though.

Using the previous chipolo I could locate my mobile. But with the upgraded chipolo I cannot locate my mobile anymore. That is my experience of the previous chipolo and the upgraded Chipolo

If you keep a tag in your vehicle, or bag, or something else that you'd like to be able to track if it's stolen, would the thief get notified that there's an unknown tracker following them?

So the unknown trackers notifications are telling the thieves of the bike that they should look for a tracker to remove it so the owner does not find it anymore. That's convenient for the thieves.

Each review only tests the Bluetooth functions. no one shows test about a lost device over the fdm network. because it doesn't work, neither with Pebblebee nor with chipolo trackers.
