ОтветитьWhat about wordpress?
ОтветитьVery informative
ОтветитьOptimistic video, and pretty good general information. Straight to the point.
We are currently working and would love to hear from other new web developers.
So lets say i learned Webflow and Figma and i am able to make good websites and get my clients. How to i include my design to their websides ? Do i also need to manage their Domains ? What if they dont have no Website? Do i buy the Domain for them i manage it then ? Can someone help me with that answer ?
ОтветитьI recently watched one of the earlier videos where you recommended doing wireframing with pen and paper and then translating it to Figma because tools like Relume can box your creativity into only considering the types of components that they have. Are you now more of a fan of Relume? How do you implement it into your process?
Ответитьdo people really pay 5k for a website??
ОтветитьWhen building pretend websites for starting a portfolio, would we need to pay to host each one or is there a way around that?
ОтветитьNo body talks about WHO you actually find those high ticket clients, how to reach out to them.
ОтветитьUse AI to make VARIOUS content for your web sample for customer. So, you can have sort of boutique websites.
ОтветитьHi Ran, What is your thought on Wix STUDIO?
ОтветитьFor some reason you are top of the web design search and I am looking for one, can you point me at the best places to find affordable phpbb coders and portal designers? Its niche so I need help building out a music and literature storefront. Thanks.
ОтветитьSomething that also can increase your conversion rates. I build e-commerce websites specifically and I will have half payment upfront and half payment when we hit a revenue benchmark.
This does 2 things. First it lowers risk for the client, because they know they don’t have to pay the second half unless they get a return. Second it provides a very smooth transition into my other services I use for retainers. I get to implement my strategies and basically prove my retainer works before even asking them to work with me after the project.
May I know from where I can find clients. I working in a company and I would like to start freelancing
ОтветитьWhy not WordPress?
ОтветитьThanks fot this information. i have some questions.... Do you do their websites in Webflow via your or their email and how do they agree paying monthly for subscription?
ОтветитьIt's cool, but not always free work is okay, most designers will stay in those volunteer works where nobody don't really appreciate them, work must to be paid and then people will see you like a professional, not amateur
ОтветитьDear , i like your video , nice information ,
ОтветитьWait you don't need to know HTML and CSS...?
ОтветитьGood advice.
ОтветитьThanks for your video and advice. Do youthink Elementor could be used for high end website or do you find it too limited? Thanks!
Ответитьare you able to help with backend systems such as onboarding, project management, creating proposals etc. I don't need the technical, but the operational help. thanks.
ОтветитьBrother, Do I need to register my web design agency to accept paypal payments on my own website or it is not required to accept paypal payments?
ОтветитьWebsites are an essential thing for businesses nowadays.
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this videos, Love & Respect from India 🙏🏻
ОтветитьWhats of Niche, is it necessary to niche down...whats your view on this?
ОтветитьPlz I hope you can help me my figma app on the laptop is different than yours and have less tools and the tools are white on the bottom screen
ОтветитьI really need to join a community of designers.
ОтветитьHey! i have question. I already started these steps but one step i am facing struggle is - "how to find these clients online" and "how to outreach them?- through cold email or cold calling".
Waiting for your reply! Thanks!
For free ? seriously ? isn't this how clients get spoiled ?
ОтветитьThanks for this Video it was truly helpful. I want to ask, How long does it take for someone to learn this to a minimum level to start making good money. Are we talking, Weeks, Months or years?
ОтветитьI wouldn't be able to create the Responsiveness of my Portfolio header in Webflow/Framer as I have to check more than 3 breakpoints, plus I have to check height as well (landscape and portrait modes) so everything properly accomodates on EVERY possible device. I have many media-queries and even nested media-queries, there are even media-queries to target "fine" (mouse) or "coarce" (non-mouse, finger (mobile/tablet)) or to reduce motion for people who have this settings enabled for example.
ОтветитьI love your vids, no worries... but I would say there are plenty of alternatives for Framer and Webflow (this is just what no-code people (just designers) use) but NextJS is a very BIG one!
I) You can't really create fully "Responsive" websites with Webflow/Framer. What you are doing is like in the old days, 3 website versions (mobile, tablet, and desktop). You aren't really doing a site "Responsive" without really getting into the code. I usually use more than 3 breakpoints for example, I use like 6 or 7. I have one site where the header font has to adapt every like 20px, so we have like 15 media-queries for that. I have developed 32+ real websites, for real orgs and businesses, in the past.
II) You can't really create "Accessible" websites with Webflow/Framer if all you ppl think accessibility is, is contrast-ratio. The first time I was prompet to do a fully accessible site with an agency I worked (for real old people, people with dissabilities, etc) was all made in code, Non through the design... accessibility is optimizing for screen-readers... they e.g. see/read things in the nav that are just for SR, or titles that are just ment for the screen-reader... e.g. a popup/modal you clone that information so a screen-reader or a keyboard-tab can access that copy of the information, without opening the popup (won't access the original) which creates problems with a keyboard-only or screen-reader... it also means how e.g. 'focus' is handled... you can't do all of this in Webflow. You also check contrast, font sizes, etc... but that's the peek of the iceberg.
III) You can also do WAY better SEO, handle metadata for social-sharing, etc, with e.g. NextJS than with Webflow or Framer.
IV) A site made in NextJS loads its pages instantly, it doesn't re-render them while navigating, and it feels like an app. Load times can also be optimized way more with NextJS, or knowing code and how to develop.
V) You own your stuff... not Webflow.
VI) You can create websites with the best tech out there, cloud services, CDN, hosting (Netlify/Vercel), CMS (like Hygraph CMS) (way more robust than Webflow's) without paying a single cent $$$ for years!
People that know how to code, won't go back to no-code tools.
My question is how to approach those high paying clients as a beginner and specially if you're from a third world country?
Ответитьحشاني مشا يتمشى فالسلامو
ОтветитьWhat do you think about WIX Studio?
ОтветитьGreat video, but I truly disagree with one point you make, when you said to provide free work for prospective clients. You should never ever work for free, even when just trying to get your foot in the door (unless you are helping family or a close friend to build a portfolio). Especially if you are targeting the super-wealthy demographic, always charge MORE than the average competition. A higher price tag alone conveys you are providing something special that others are not, and this triggers interest to your prospective client. There are other ways to provide value for free or low cost, such as a consultation call, e-book showing the benefits of good web design, blog on your site, etc.
ОтветитьAyyyyyyyyye ✌🏾💥
Ответитьhow can i get client
ОтветитьPlease can you make one video on how to find clients and the entire onboarding process. Thanks
ОтветитьAdding One more step would be better and the step is "Marketing"
ОтветитьThanks for this nice introduction to web business. However, I still think that in Framer, you can also integrate different design variations, which makes me inclined to skip Figma nonetheless. In what cases would you still recommend using Figma? I would love to hear your standpoint on that…
ОтветитьHi do you need a thumbnail designer?
ОтветитьWithout knowledge of programming even if you succeed in marketing yourself or your company you will eventually fail and gain a bad reputation among your clients
ОтветитьAnother Technique you can use to get actual clients to build your portfolio is to offer free projects to non-profits, NGO's etc and in return you can charge them a detailed review or feedback.
ОтветитьGreat 😃
ОтветитьI learned HTML and CSS and currently learning JavaScript. I am a little bit confused now.
Where is the differents between a Website built with webflow and one with HTMl/CSS? What is the advantage of learning HTML and CSS when today everyone is capable of building a Website? Is everything possible with Webflow?
Hi Ran! How can I effectively target US clients? Which platforms should I focus on?
ОтветитьHey Ran Segall, why don't you talk about WordPress, even as an example?
Ответить
