You know what, I agree with this, it could be better but it's the best "new" racing game until Dirt5 comes out.

I think it's the disappointment that SMS didn't evolve PCARS sim and chose to go simcade. Always been a big fan of SMS ( SHIFT, PCARS 1& 2 ) . I agree it shouldn't have been called PCARS 3 .

SMS’s big mistake was making PC2 for PC. If they had made it a console only game, they would have lost a few sales, but probably gained a lot more without the toxic hardcore PC simmers trash talking it every chance. And yes, basically it WAS the best console sim of all, and it outsold pretty much all the hardcore sims. Take that success, and build on it, add the stuff that this game ADDS, the liveries, the upgrades, the fun focused career, and then find a way to add pad control without borking wheel control, damn it, you got a GT Sport killer!

But by burning their sim base to the ground, they now live or die with the casual player, who aren’t really any more forgiving about bugs and graphical glitches, balancing issues and don’t get me started about any online penalty system (Sport Mode, anyone?!)... SMS have swapped a small but loyal base for a slice of the crowded casual pie who will disappear as soon as the next racer drops. I have my doubts there will be a net gain if any size.

To hear you say you really like the game but won’t probably be playing it in two months, that’s such a cop out... How much do you REALLY like something you won’t replace your main squeeze with? So this is some skank you’ll bang for a night, but you are going back to your girlfriend tomorrow?! 🙄

SMS dont know the meaning of being truthful , Lies about PC1 and 2 , Lies about PC3 , you dont cut of the hand that feeds you and you dont lie to customers. They are the biggest BS's in the business and derserve everything they get and have got.

Every driver has different skill, if every ai driver was the same and I won every race that would be boring, the drivers up front should be faster, it should be a challenge, I don't want to win every race, that's just boring and bad development

It's really sad how this has all blown up into this big thing! I hope project cars 4 gets made & pleases everyone but with this game entering the charts at 17 & disappeared out of the top 40 the following week, I'm not so sure! Great video!

My third comment. Try to be fair. NFS Shift series, AI is racing with you, not riding like a bloody parade, in bunch. You can also feel the difference between front, rear, all wheel drive.......... Where are the bloody 100+ tracks, most of them real, or made in real places........ No, PC3 is just a failure. Even compared to NFSShift

The sim racing boomer nursing home "community" is colon cancer, but SMS should still have called this Project CARS REVolution or something off-brand like that.

Best game for a long time. Racing and driving makes a lot of fun. PC1 + PC2 played with controller ... not possible to enjoy. PC3 with Controller = absolute enjoyment! Keep on going and have a good time :-)

Having a great time playing pc3 so far, it just might be worth the money Phew!

I have disliked it for quite while but am getting used to the “arcadyness” etc but it lacks polish to me.
Also the points for buying cars seem way too hard to accumulate. They are cancelled for even touching a kerb which is bullshit as most disciplines of racing bounce off them, but if I do so much as touch one, all the work to earn cash points is cancelled even though the option for penalties is off. Any ideas? (On XBox but shouldn’t matter??)
For me it’s Assetto Corsa for sim and Forza Motorsport SIX for fun (Need Lotus Cortina and ‘69 Mustang as I own real ones). PC2 was odd with its floating cars as I like watching replays.
Don’t like Any Horizon “toys” and don’t like FM7 due to dancing dolls.
A spaceman in a Father Christmas suit for a driver! Really!! Let us decorate them as real drivers!
Cars don’t look as good either in replay. Don’t move around the same.
ACC locked at 30fps is a bloody joke in today’s world. Just hope FM8 will be OK.

I wish they would have called it "Project Cars - Sport". Then maybe more people would give it a chance. It had some bugs at launch but many of those have been patched. I have put 40+ hours into this game and I love it. It is not a sim but it is not an arcade game like the Burnout or NFS series either. It is just a really fun game.

im loving it . aint no midnite club VR. or NFS VR. so this is what i been lookin for feels good .very fun in VR and a wheel.

I should of bought the deluxe when it was on sale. Great in vr.!! Personally I like more Arcade then sim where you’re just crashing and spinning all the time. I have all 3 projects ! This should have been called Project Cars Arcade and it would have gotten a 9 rating !

Too much oversteer/understeer in the corners, and you can't adjust it. That's enough to delete the game right there. You can't adjust anything. Just terrible.
