This movie is a comedic masterpiece but, the two main characters had terrible chemistry. I prefer Notting hill for the chemistry.

Nothing romantic from Carrie or from MacDowell. She must be the worst character in a 'romantic' comedy in the history of cinema, and Andie only makes it 10 times worse. Too bad for the British cast, the writing and the wonderful Hugh.

I think this film is gonna be in my top 20 of 100 favourites films from the 90s talk about the writing of this film hats off to Richard Curtis dialogues and their deliveries by the actors were executed with perfection literally also fantastic acting by each and everyone especially the supporting ones scarlet,tom,Mathew, Bernard, not to forget Charles's brother David & honourable mention for our beloved Mr bean( Rowan Atkinson ) absolutely hilarious his acting is so memorable ! I know how everyone say that if the film had ended like how we wanted then it wouldn't be such a big success and memorable but still I gotta say that was the only thing I didn't like because i was rooting and hoping for fifi /,Fiona to be with Charles I mean she did her role so good that in my opinion she overshadowed hugh grant in that confrontation scene which is one of my favourite scenes from the film so good and was so emotional, another favourite scene is the funeral speech by Mathew it's amazing to see how director has shown that funeral scene with a uniqueness which is that poem really made me what a direction I mean seriously he showed opening wedding scene so Correctly in my opinion this was brilliant to give everyone time to reveal their character with their dialogues literally and this makes me come back to the point where i started on writing on this film, you know I have seen this film after 30 years of its release and the most special thing about this film in my opinion personally is that it doesn't felt like its a 30 years old film that's because if how it's been presented and spoken to us through the actors, director and especially the writer they all did it so good everyone was good especially Fiona ( Kristen Scott Thomas)
