Haven't really checked the comments to see if anyone else pointed this out, but "Legion" is also likely referencing the similarly named demon who is described as "many souls in one body" so maybe that answers the gang thing?

I like how the killer and the survivors backstorys are connected

The legion's story reminds me of "I know what you did last summer" movie kind of story, except for that the teenagers were not killers, nor they became killers. I honestly don't buy his storyline and thought they went too plain for this killer.

I always found this lore SO weird - hes a guy with a knife and a weird mask who killed one guy.... all the other killers are twisted evil masterpieces who have murdered at least two dozen minimum... Who would the entity pick him???
