Marvel Midnight Suns New Game Plus - Everything You Need To Know About NG+

patched and now you can keep your cards in NG+, it only resets your levels (not friendship levels) and the story related quests in the abbey (words of power etc)
it's the fastest way to do a dark playthrough (for trophies) if you did light before and vice versa. and cool to play on higher difficulties.
you keep all the benefits from previous quests so no real need to do them again anyway :)

I mean at some point I will jump in to New game plus but right now I'm gonna do the dlc characters story and then get the last word of power grind the character cards and then just see what I want to do

This sucks. I put so much into the original game thinking that new game was going to be just everything that you had brought back. I like to do new game plus like a month after I beat the core game. But now I have to wait longer so I don’t get fatigued. Omg especially the Agatha Woods missions. Why not just start where you left off with the story like other games? Still this game is amazing.

It's not really a new game plus if you level up your characters all over again. Also what's the point if nothing new gets added to the game when you do a New Game Plus playthrough

Yeah honestly i am most likely just gonna start a regular new game if im gonna be forced to change up shit im playing as a light hunter right now and i have been gloss grinding like hell so hearing that it doesn't carry over when you buy shit is disheartening to say the least

Now that 4 dlcs are out it's the perfect time to start my ng+, do a light side build and start freshly to remember the mechanics of the heroes.

So stats don’t carry over? I have my Spider-Man’s resilience almost at max and caps fortitude as well. Things like that don’t transfer over?

I almost made the blunder of clicking on new game plus assuming that my characters would still be the same levels. Worked pretty hard on them, not quite ready to let them go just yet.

If you are chasing light experience or dark experience, will new game+ help or will it reset it entirely? Love the video!

So I finished the game completely. Went back to finish a few achievements I didn't get yet. Now that I've done this I don't have ng+ option in the menu. What am I missing here? Any help is appreciated.

Huge oversight, if they allowed a full carry over. I'd play again, but that stinks. I'll come back after all the dlc drops.

Nice vid but there is one major flaw in NG+ you have not mentioned. If for example you played as a male hunter and finish the game and when you start a NG+ game and change gender to female. Your hunters Champion levels etc WILL NOT transfer over.

Fully planned to do NG so I could run a dark hunter and see the female voice acting but will not after hearing no resources transfer and all the work I did is literally erased. Why not just make enemies more difficult, have different mods for cards in NG and such? I loved the game but it really is a horrid NG plus mode, which sucks as I would love to go through the story with DLC characters when they come

Seams very useless. The reason I like NG+ in most games is everything transfers and you can play again but at the strongest you can be at the start, but the game is more challenging.

Honestly the characters all have strengths and weaknesses. So far the I think the most useful ones are magik, Dr Strange, and Nico. They can easily flip a hard fight into a piece of cake.

Firaxis are the kings of replayability, they should know better than this. The card building from scratch I kinda understand, because that's literally the entire drive of the game. But all the mundane collectables, and charging money again for all the cosmetics you already unlocked is insane. I was really looking forward to NG+ because I was going to create a completely different Hunter (from being 100% light the first time) and build an entirely new deck to experiment with.

I just finished the standard game and started a new one, but so far NG+ on ULT3 feels like a joke. Yes, my hunter is level 1, but because of the extra champion levels, he hits like a truck and his HP is double that of anyone on the field. Furthermore, is the point of playing the game when you have maxed out friendship bonuses + combo cards, which are dominating the game from day 1?

After getting Hunter to full lightside I'm trying to switch sides and get her to full dark before the end of the game however everything is going very slowly and I'd like to know if I'm doing right.

Was hoping the suit powers carried over but seems not. Have most of them but only 1 ability so far so seems it just for cosmetics🤔

Well that's kinda horseshit that cards and currency dont carry over. Guess I'll just wait until the DLC characters are out if I have start all over again

It'd be great if ng+ was much harder but offered more powerful cards warranting the card wipe other than that some new cosmetics would be nice for the player to flex they beat ng+ say on ultimate 3 or even add an unique difficulty that can only be accessed in ng+ come on Fraxis give us something juicy

I'm sorry, but that's not New Game+, that's just a New Game.
If I wanted to start all over again, I would just start a new Save.
The devs really screwed the pooch on this one.
Also I think that other then fixing the NG+, they should have Saving Profiles, so if I wanted to start all over again, I could just switch to a different profile without having to manage all my saves like a caveman.

I've just started NG+, just thinking about searching and modifying and picking up artifacts all over again, to unlock each hero's ultimate skills, makes me extremely lazy, exploring the whole abbey again, leveling up arcane knowledge again to open the chests without needing a key, pass those boring challenges to unlock the words of power, I've never seen an NG+ the main part you don't take with you, which are the cards, I already gave up, and I'm going to load the old save I made , they should have changed that, and I have a question, what are the hero points?, which they said that you gain as you level up above the maximum, and that you can use in NG+

Since you have all your friendship at top you can be a douchebag with all the heroes without many consequences and go full dark sociopath mode. Not for everyone as you said.

Thus far, wolverine is probably my favorite hero to take along with me. The best part of that is he is actually my favorite x-man and one of my all time favorite super heroes in general. As for my least favorite, I think it might be Cpt Marvel. Even in this game, she is just way too arrogant for me to like. She even had this awful dialogue where she tells me to stop "hunter-splaining something to her," like, wth? I am soooo sorry that my entire life as the hunter has revolved around the games plot and me explaining something to a woman is just too much for her fragile ego. I am soo sorry for my toxic masculinity, I should have known that Cpt Marvel doesn't need no dam man to tell her anything!
