Missiles bad in-game right now, but at least it doesn't have worthless [SIZE 2 GUNS] like the eclipse which is like 3 times bigger. Low flight range, and because the missiles are bad, you have to re-arm mid-fight. Ballistics don't really do anything, so having them stock is just silly. I ran out of missiles (only 3/12 actually hit), and had to spend 10 minutes on an LRT with the rental. You get this ship for one reason alone: Aesthetics. DO NOT BUY this ship for any other reason, in its current state. It would have been better with an EMP, which is what I really wanted from a Redux but I guess that wasn't "legally distinct" enough.

CIG - we haven't released a new ship in 2 weeks. Ok, lets re-paint an existing one and see if they notice. BTW, how are the game play mechanics coming along for ships that have been flyable for over 8 years?

I have a simple question which hasn't been answered for over a year now. If anyone could PLEASE help:

Server resets.
Is Star Citizen still doing that? For example: you play for 3~4 months, then comes a new server reset and you lose evertyhing you collected?

cockpits are still the weakest point - looks boring, not cool, not industrial, rough and gritty enough. they look all too clean, generic and the same - more hud-interfaces in the helmet. the terrapin is such a cool ship BUT the cockpit is a joke! and we need a military-version of the terrapin. also stop selling concept ships and makeevery game availibe to buy for everyone everytime! AND WHY are there no reflections on the cockpit-windows??? the transit-trainships have all these reflections!

Deploys 5 missiles in one go, not 4? I want that version in game :D Also Steel 108750HP, 5x S3.... 5x3276=16380, even with 2nd and 3rd pass 39k max!

The ship looks good, sounds great, and it's fun to fly. If only it had more missiles rearming after two volleys kind of sucks. That being said I think it's a step in the right direction to have ships to fit these niche roles. Not every ship has to be a "do everything" fighter. Like Eve online it's sort of a rock paper scissors when you run up on somebody your ships archetype versus theirs and dictating the rules of engagement to fit your strengths of your ship.

Why dont fly a Freelancer MIS? It has more shields, more guns, more (miss)iles, more cargo and is cheaper.

Any missile focused ships are useless. Until they rewamp damage for them and most importantly... the MISS in the missiles....

Unrealistic, with master modes that firebird should be crawling at a snails pace while firing missiles capped at scm.

Let me remind you CIG 8 years ago on Star citizen community Twitch channel said they were fixing missiles "to finally work right". I'd like also to remind you that in 2019 CIG said they were fixing missiles and after this time they'd work perfectly. FYI I got perma ban from spectrum for linking videos exposing CIG's constant lies about game systems. Missiles have never worked properly. NEVER!

Also, if you slap some Strife mass drivers on it, it you can shoot targets at 4-5k, and the Ai can't detect you, so they just sit there and take the hits.

when will we get expandable ammo for ballistic guns or store ammo to refill them if you have cargo space or get more ammo per gun, we are in the future with ships travelling from system to system but i only have ammo for 2 shootouts and then im screwed, not very realistic, in RL i got an MG on my tank and guess what, if my belt is empty i have storage ammo inside it and also my main canon can fire more than whats in the turrets bunker because we got storage in a much smaller overall compartment, for small fighters okay but bigger ships should be able to replenish out of internal Ammo Cargo boxes or have bigger ammo boxes loaded wich you can load manually...
