Just found this .....I was there, god this brings back some good memories but cant remember much about it just remember having a great day and a cracking gig !!!

that "blond guy" is an phenomenal singer and was a main reason for the Comet's success as the lead vocalist.

he sounds like somebody took two cats, tied their tails together and put them on a telephone wire.

You're entitled to your opinion. I disagree. Classic 80s sound and far better than Frehley's vocals.

The drummer is Jamie Oldaker.Fromer Eric Clapton drummer.Drums for Ace's albums were by the great Anton Fig.One of Ace best friends from his first solo album.This guy just couldnt play the parts.Not in Antons league.I was disappointed when second sighting came out he replaced Anton from the first comet album.Weak.Ace rules for life...

This clip should have had the title "this drummer is at the wrong gig", not the Steve Moore / Sharp dress man one.

The drummer is actually Jamie Oldaker, who was Eric Clapton's drummer for years. He is an excellent drummer, but all wrong for the Comet. Anton definitely was a better fit!

"Breakout" co-written by Eric Carr. Always wish Eric was allowed to drum on Ace's "Trouble Walking" CD. He was given permission by Kiss Co. to do it but Gene told him he couldn't do it. I was big time into Ace and Frehleys Comet during this time period. They were my first concert, they opened for Maiden in Worcester, MA. Anton Fig was the original drummer of FC and Anton was (is) still amazing. Jamie Oldaker I thought was a terrible choice for this band. His timing and fills are way off.

Either the drummer is high or having an off night. It's not that hard to cover a Kiss drum track, He's keeping the beat but his fills are not making it.

God bless Ace but this drummer was a poor choice. Then again, he was screwed out of his top two choices by David Letterman and Gene Simmons, respectively.

yea it's like he didn't even try to learn antons licks at all. i mean jamie isn't the drummer anton is but even i took a tape and slowed it down back in the 80's and learned antons licks.

I would have liked to have seen Ace Frehley's Comet & Vinnie Vincent's Invasion on tour together circa '87-'88.

I may be on my own here but I actually prefer Jamie Oldaker as a drummer to Anton Fig. These songs just have a much better groove. Jamie's drumming on Second Sighting was great and he is awesome here. His beat and fills are great. It keeps the songs fresh. It's a bit like Tommy Clueftos with Black Sabbath. Rock on Ace.

Jamie's a good drummer but clearly he's not familiar with the songs.

Jamie did some nice stuff with Clapton and has a good feel.However.....He is clearly not for this gig.I dont need to hear chops to determine a drummers skill<give me groove like Porcaro,Ferrone and Purdie anyday.Anton owned this gig.Sorry Jamie

Todd Haworth was the biggest problem with  Aces Frehleys Commit.  Top 40 writing punk and he was riding off Aces coat tails.  I remember buying this Record and being pissed at how many songs he was singing on.  I had to make a tape of just the ones ACE sings on.   (in all fairness I wish I had a chance like that, but I would have respected the main name in the band and had him sing my songs)

Too bad that the best live footage of Frehley's Comet is from this tour, Anton Fig is desperately needed here!

All the haters should f£$k %^f this is the best Frehleys Comet live footage i was at the show and it was immense Todd John and Jamie were superb comparing different performers is lame Anton and Jamie are totally different drummers but both brilliant Anton is more classical and jazz orientated and jamie more rock blues so of course they will be different
