G-Shock G-5600UE Watch Review | Tough Solar that will outlive you

Kindly suggest me a variant similar to g-5600ue that doesn’t have this viewing angle problem. Kindly help. Thanks in advance

hello i Bought this watch one month back from amazon now. from the day i got the watch i notice the battery level it showed was always in medium level. I kept the watch outside in sunlight etc still there was no change. I ran the diagnostic tests but the battery level did not change from medium to high. 4 days back day suddenly it showed battery level low like for 5 minutes then again its showing medium level how much time is required to charge the battery to high.

I bought this one this month and I am loving it. It is too easy to go and so much is incorporated in it. A watch worth its money.❤

Why does the backlight look so bad? I've seen cheaper watches having even backlighting. This one looks like someone stuck an led to the left side. Am I missing something? I'm new to watches. Please explain

This was the best budget square until the GWM5610u was launched which also has a better module and MB6 as well...Still a superb collectors piece...But owning the 5610u id never buy this piece nowadays...Great review of a classic ...

I bought this watch from Casio India Shop in 2021, I don't remember even if I registered for warranty. The model is G5600UE-1DR, but the Buckle of straps has Casio China written on it that sometimes make me doubt it. The watch is perfect and I never faced any problem with it, I used it in very different terrain or can say I tested its full potential and it has proven its metal. The module in my watch has the Indian style of showing the date thankfully. The weird thing is when I tilt the watch to an angel I see RCVD written on the LCD screen, I don't understand why it is there in this watch.

It is not charging, I don't know why I charged it, it went from medium to high or 2.5 month चली घड़ी. now 2day in the sun approx for 2-3 hour total give sunlight but still its on medium I don't know whether the sun light is weak this time or there is some other problem? Please tell me what is the issue

Casio should really consider selling the GW-M5610U in India. That's the closest thing to the OG G-Shock DW-5000C...

How about the accuracy? My G-5600UE lose 1 second every 1 week. I'm a little bit dissapointed because I'd rather have a watch that gain seconds than lose seconds.
Maybe because module no. 3496 (G-5600UE) is identical to 3495 (GW-M5610) with exception of radio sync (Multiband 6), so G-5600UE tends to lose seconds?

Can you change the format of the date so it displays the day first then month?

A great, to the point, review. I like the atomic feature of the GW-M5610U, but I don’t like the red line on the face. I want it to look more like the old DW-5600C and DW-5200C from the mid 80s, this one fits the bill. I’ll get one soon. Love the sensible date format feature and the current time whilst using other features, too.

Good review. I have the Rangrman GW-9400-1, and thinking of getting a smaller G-Shock. Considering this one G-5600ue-1 or a GW-5000U-1. I know you have both. Is the 5000u viewing angle much better or about the same as the 5600ue?

Although it's engraved 3496 module number but when checked by display the module number is 3495. Why so?

I started my G-Shock collecting backwards. The first one was the GW-5000U-1, then a GBM-2100-1A and since they were "too pretty" to be beaten, my wife gifted me the G-5600UE and I love it. I like the look of it, the functions and the fact that it's not that expensive so it can actually be a beater and the covenience of it being solar (in fact most of my watches are solar). I'd love to get the GW-M5610U-1 just for the look of it resembling the 1st G-Shock, but I don't have multiband 6 in my country, so it's a bit of overkill...just like my GW-5000U-1 😂

How about the sounds for alarm and beep? Do they soundd ample or very low?
