Elvis Presley Records In Communist Soviet Russia Bootleg

This format used to be called "music on the bones" here, guess why.

As a citizen of the former soviet union and now a citizen of what is called "free" russia I must tell you that freedom is not something that you take for granted. Even if you have it today doesn't mean you'll have tomorrow. And it is not only about ideology, since russia or belarus are not communist countries anymore but cannot be called free countries anyway. So fight for the freedom. I hope that someday during my lifetime my country will become truly free.

Born in the former USSR. My Dad who was a teen in the 60’s loved American music and had access to actual records from the US (thanks to relatives who lived here. The relatives would repack the records into Communist friendly packages to hide what they really were. My dad would host parties in the homes of Party leaders who loved Elvis music. In Comunist Russia, my father used Capitalism and charged Party leaders lots of rubels to listen to American music. Instead of “Blatnaya Pesnya” which means illicit/criminal song he called it “Platnaya Pesnya” (Payday Song). It is truly unforgivable deed that Zero movies have been in the Western countries post Soviet era, regarding the Rock & Roll culture in the USSR, & how it was key to destroying the Socilalist regimes worldwide... Hollwierd or EU never funded any films that touched these subjects - surely just a coincidence!!

The ''x rays'' were femur, tibia and fibula [ leg and thigh bones ], then pelvic bone [ the wide one ] and bones of the spine [ sacrum, lower lumbar ], lower thoracic. [ Whoever these bones belonged to ], then 'he' or 'she' was blessed because part of his or her body anatomy will always be reflected in Elvis life history, [ even if its an anonymous ].

interesting. My mum had friends in Poland during the 60s. She would send them US and UK records (including Elvis records). Sometimes they'd be lucky and they would get through but other times the police would open up the parcels, scratch the records, repackage them and send them onto the recipients.

The power of music is fantastic! Elvis being the King helps of course. :)
