Is there a reason your not destroying every secirity camera there is a mode switch for guns you can click it 3xs with the sparQbeam and over charge it .. also changes the amno type in guns as well as turning on the laser beam for the magnum

the ladder climbs are so reminiscent of Thief Deadly Shadows! And the initial hybrids are just like the puppets in the "Shalebridge Cradle" level of TDS. SHODAN's voice, like someone here mentioned is the MAIN reason why i enjoyed this so much. This actually made me play TDS and the other Thief games again! The Looking Glass Studios and their personnel was truly ahead of its time RIP
Not to mention the spanner and the pipe hand movements while idle and during melee attacks mirrors Bioshock 1's motions

I tried to like this game, but it just wouldn't let me. System Shock may be the most overrated game ever.

One OF Greatest Hidden Gem Games Ever I Wish Sees System Shock 3

Playing this game was kind of like playing Zork... I felt like I was always stuck, but had little breakthroughs here and there, after which I was still stuck. Had to write down every actionable clue in the Audio logs, take long detours into straight mucking around until I stumbled across what I was missing. I was eventually able to finish the game without hints or help... was an epic struggle but very satisfying!

I really hope that System Shock 2 also gets an awesome remake like this.

I am amazed how big this game. At first glare i though i would get boring. it was too outdate for modern standard but i like it and i don't stop playing. Level design, gore theme, story, arts direction are masterpiece even for modern standard. I love Bioshock 1 & 2 and Prey.
All these game are inspired by system shock. Unlike greedy Nintendo or CW who will sue everything for a mechanic.
It's also great because you don't need a rtx 4090 to enjoy a fun game like this.

Now final boss is different and its a shit…. You have 3 lives but you don’e have a life bar so you don’t know how much damage are receiving, you can’t save so you have to do it all in once and you don’t have medikit… The devwlopers ruined the game

Are you playing this shit on easy mode? Because those enemies looked simple as shit and never even touched you or attempted to attack you. All the enemies did was walk towards you exile you shot them in the face; super basic enemy AI.

I ended up running past all the bots and Diego on the way to the lifepods since I have absolutely no electricity. Fighting him on the way out was super glitchy at times. Ended up piling up proximity mines and getting lucky.

SHODAN can sabotage the escape pod to prevent the hacker escaping but never once thought to just drop one of elevators that was repeatedly used to get around the station or open every floor to the vacuum of space.
