Many people ask me about battery charging and how long it takes and what types of chargers are available. I've driven the car for a year and so far, no change on range or battery capacity that I can detect.
I've saved 1700.00 in fuel costs since I purchased the car and that includes the subtracting the 2.00 per evening it costs to charge the battery bank.
I am getting 100 plus miles per charge when the heater or air conditioner are not operating and I've had a low of 70 miles during the middle of the winter and driving in
the rain. I've had a high of 128 miles on one charge.
I don't keep track anymore as I purchased the car to commute and that is 45 miles round trip. Other than the complete silence of operation, it drives just like any compact.
It will out accelerate a Prius and can carry 5 people with no problem.
Delivered cost was 26,500.00 minus the Federal rebate and not having to pay SST.
Love the thing. Most of our power in the PNW is hydro, so I see this as a pretty green alternative to my Corvette.
