Hey man I have flat and wide feet. I’m having an issue with my right inner ankle. It’s probably due to my arch collapsing when I’m running and it really hurts. Weird as it is only my right foot that has the pain and it almost feels like a bone bruise or something. It hurts a lot as I start my run but after everything gets warmed up I am able to get up to speed and it bothers me slightly less. My main question is, is there anything out there to help or assist with that pain, I do my toe raises, and other calf stretches, also currently wearing Nike air Pegasus 35. Lately I’ve been successful in training myself to be less of a hell striker, so could this also be my body’s way of adjusting to me not heel striking as much as I did when running in high school? I’m 24 now
ОтветитьMe and my wallet are hoping the Next% can be challenged by the the Nike Pegasus 36 (& Turbo), atleast if price is taken into consideration as well.
ОтветитьThe 4% Flyknit was a great shoe. This version appears to have solved a number of the issues so as such I think Kofuzi is going to be spot on with his prediction. 👍🏼
ОтветитьIs the Zoom X foam still only gonna last a certain period of time?
ОтветитьI best get saving up :)
ОтветитьHoka carbon x?
ОтветитьWell.. it depends on the criteria then..
I never got my hands on a vaporfly before, so I don't know how they feels like to run in. I just imagine they must be good.
Well, different shoes for different folks. coming off from a slow runner that always look for discount, I must say my criteria for a best shoe will include affordability, versatility, durability, comfort, weight, etc.
Fast times or record breaking shoes in a race for me would not be a main criteria, cause I'm not a racer guy anyway.
But yeah, maybe if I can actually afford one of those vaporflies, I'm sure I'll put them as one of the best (if not THE best) out there.
I have a lot of tools in the tool box, not one shoe is going to do all the things. I will likely wear my Vaporfly 4% during my two road marathons and 2 warm up races, but that is only about 2% of my miles run in the year. I will likely finish out my Clifton4 and jump right to the 6, and I enjoy my speedgoat2, but I need to try out the wildhorse 5.
ОтветитьI really can't wait to get my hands on a pair of these 🏃♂️
ОтветитьEven though I don't own it, yet, I can see why you chose it as the best one. I own a couple of the FK and picked up a used pair on eBay of the V1 a few months ago, and by far those are the best shoes I've ever owned. If it wasn't for the V1 pair, I wouldn't be able to put in the miles I have since my last marathon in February with the PF I'm dealing with.... and yes, I know, if I had stronger feet/ankles, I wouldn't need these shoes, but I don't and I'm not a spring chicken anymore, so these shoes (V1) have literally allowed me to continue to run 50+ mile weeks. If you are fortunate enough to own a pair, you would understand.
My only gripe, that I can see with the VP Next%, is that they seem to 'deform' at the tip of the toes. Much like the street version shoes, EXP-X14...as someone with self-diagnosed OCD, that would drive me up the wall LOL!!! Much like the wrinkling on the zoom x currently on the 4%'s...But that's just aesthetics I suppose.
Good stuff. Too bad it was such a limited initial release.
ОтветитьSome sort of carnival going on? Where is that? Also, I'd love if I could get the Flyknit Vaporflys for sale now that the Next % is out haha, please Nike.
ОтветитьTake these to the Tunnel Marathon. You wont be disappointed. Traction was fine in the gen 1 for me last year and if you agree that the traction is improved from the gen 1 VF, you'll be just fine.
ОтветитьI was told to wear the stryd on the opposite foot of your watch. not having any issues with that?
ОтветитьWith new tariffs on imported Chinese made goods I am expecting a price jump to more than $300.00 soon unless Nike decides to absorb the additional costs itself.
ОтветитьThe price is just too steep to justify for a pair of running shoe. I'll probably wait for the Zoom fly 3 and hopefully...it will have some similar upgrade 😃😃 (finger cross).
ОтветитьHi, I’m not a runner but i do join non competitive running events sometimes for health reasons. I do love the design of Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 Shield mostly becasue of the relector and water resistant which is very suitable for jogging in the rainy night but I don’t know durable and comfortable it is though. What other running shoes from Nike or UA do you recommend that has nice reflectors kinda like the same as the Pegasus or even better
ОтветитьOk jami, what can you say about that, eh?
ОтветитьSure if this shoe can get me 30-60min faster in the marathon I’ll buy the shoe for 275$. Otherwise I’ll stick with something equaly good and cost a whole lot less.
Ответитьmy feet hurt every time i see you splash in that cold water
ОтветитьCan you compare them to the hoka x carbon?
ОтветитьVs the Hoka Hoka Carbon X??
ОтветитьHow long did they take break in? :)
ОтветитьBest shoe before the year's end?
ОтветитьSo who would you say this shoe is for? I.e. what kind of runner do you think it would benefit a 8/min mile 9/mile paced runner? And how often would u wear it?
ОтветитьEver run in not-water? Asking for a friend.
ОтветитьHow was this filmed? The shadow seems to show a stick, which you don’t seem to be holding. Nice shots anyway
ОтветитьIf I'm looking to run around 50 miles a week should I go for a pair of zoom fly flyknit for $120 or peg turbos for 135
ОтветитьIt's not a running shoe.... it's a heavy clumsy brick
ОтветитьGreat running shoes review 👍🏽 I want a pair these now after your reviews, but I think it’s overpriced.
ОтветитьSo you're saying a shoe that costs $250, lasts MAYBE 2 marathons and is then shit...is the best overall shoe of 2019. Sure thing guy lol Good luck with that while the rest of us buy shoes that last more than 300 miles for half that price, minimum.
ОтветитьIf Nike or adidas release kofuzi signature model, I would buy one.
Btw, i really love your channel, just wondering; you seem like a very serious guy and dont have much sense of humour...but that's ok, i love you for who you are. :)
hi, thanks for the great videos. thinking about picking up a pair whenever they become available. do they fit true to size or did u have to go up or down a size? I know you just got the saucony ride iso 2. I had to go up a 1/2 size up from my regular size to fit the rid iso 2’s. would u do the same with the vaporfly next? thanks for any help.
ОтветитьThey should make a full zoom x midsole without a carbon fiber plate. That would be awesome
ОтветитьHey, great video as usual Mike! Just wondering what are those calf sleeves you have worn in the beginning are called, might want to get a pair myself!
ОтветитьI love that Nike decided to put the Swoosh on the toe, I definitely want this shoe but have been stuck on the Pegasus line for so long now. Thanks for a powerful review friend!
ОтветитьDoes this fit the category of a neutral shoe?
ОтветитьWhat happened to the Hoka One One Evo Carbon Rocket? How do you think that one compares to this new Next%?
Ответитьhow did you get them??
ОтветитьPlz make best budget running shoes for man
Ответитьhi, i’m curious about sizing but i don’t have a lot of nikes. my flyknit racer and vapor street is us10.5 (half size up from my true to size). what size should i get with these?
ОтветитьAlways such great videos , cant wait to get my feet in those shoes for chicago’s 2019 marathon.
Keep running.
Fuel Cell!
ОтветитьAgreed hands down. RSOTY is the Next%
ОтветитьWhere is 2020 running shoes of the year, mate?
Ответить5 times on foot = 5 PB's. Best shoe ever ❤️
ОтветитьHave you tried the Nike Vaporfly NEXT% 2 (ver 2) ? I currently run with Pegasus and would like to have a faster shoes for 5-10K. Working on getting my body to hopefully get to a half marathon then tackle a full marathon.
Ответитьbro, you look just like long duck dong from the movie "Sixteen Candles." lol. No offense
