It will not be that hard for Musk and Vivek. When they open the books, they will be looking at, is the Government just doing the things they are Constitutionally required to do ? Or are they overstepping ? Is any of the money thats in obscure funds, just actually slush funds, that politicians and government dip into for themselves, thats what needs to be found out and exposed. People like Musk, Vivek, or others that are Not apart of the club are the prime people to look for inefficiencies, and redundancy in the workforce, and cut the overhead. The Government has a budget, which we the people i.e. the share holders, entrust our money with them to use responsibly, and for the purpose intended. Having an outside audit on behalf of us the shareholders, i.e. taxpayers, is good, so it will keep the Government on notice that we are watching, and we expect an accurate financial report, as to how our investment is being allocated and utilized.
