He did NOT like the car on the track. When a professional tells you a car is too soft, that is a kiss of death. Sloppy, soft = BAD.
He also added that the car was too stiff on the road.
So alas, yet another focus RS type blunder by Ford. Fcuken idi0ts cant build anything right if its not a pickup.

Mustang was crap for racing for the last 70 years, why would they make a proper racing car now :) Even he talks about the logo and the looks, which should be the last thing on a racers mind, but that's exactly why Mustangs exist, and why they were built in the first place.

Based on what he said on track. With the magnaride its the opposite of the best of both worlds, actually being too soft on track and too stiff on road.

I have a '16 GT and have been considering a '24. Besides them being impossible to get, I'm not sure I would do a Dark Horse for a daily driver that I'm unlikely to use on a road course. I think putting the money toward a supercharger would be more useful, at least for my situation.

I want to see a track comparison with the darkhorse vs the 6th gen Camaro ss 1LE.

Just wish they had put 4 piston brakes in the rear. The current setup which is the same as the current 2015-2023 brakes makes it look cheap.

Car should come with much better tires ,those Pirelli tires are garbage, they are for Road comfort, I have four of the Dunlop sport Max 2 tires, better than the Michelin definitely better than those pirelli's and half the price.... it's like driving around with four slicks almost.

For the price it comes to with most of the Darkhorse options I would go buy a low mileage GT350 before their prices skyrocket. I don't care for all the extra tech in the Darkhorse and I don't like the dash screen.

The Dark horse I don’t think will sell well initially. That screen is ridiculous although I’m 52. In March I bought a brand new 2022 GT mustang which I love. I think the premium 2024 mustang GT will sell better. What’s your guys opinion??

I wish just one time that one of these drivers would make a couple of laps around the oval track and leave out the road course. I could careless about the curves and all that BS. I don’t know if a single regular guy like myself that races on a track. We fun from a dig in the quarter mile and top speed.

For all the people saying it's not tunable. The ECU has already been officially cracked. Lund Racing has already said his tunes will be available in 10 months or less he's just waiting for the base tune from hp tuners who cracked the ECU in 3 short weeks after receiving the car. If you consider that whipple waters the tune down for ford it's going to be a monster because they already made 740whp with SC, headers, and 93 pump. Imagine what Lund will be able to do with SC, CAI, headers, and E85. Next couple years your going to see 800whp Dark Horse with a reliable build because all the extra cooling and forged internals ford put in from the factory. All the after market parts have already been built and are for sale we are just waiting on the tunes.

Ford needs to come out with a 4 door muscle car. They would take ALL of the mopar guys looking for an updated replacement of the hellcat. Being Dodge won't do it, they can!

I understand there isn’t much feel from the wheel for a pro driver. For a regular driver I’m guessing you’ll feel it

Looks like a really solid first attempt at this new gen. With anniversary editions coming and other new models on the horizon, this next year should have some incredible options of Mustang lovers.

Why can they just delete the back seat and put a sound system. No one can’t really seat in the back there is no space for leg room and most people’s head hit the roof.

Great video. I know this is old now, but...Question: Is there a way to completely turn the traction control off other than the traction control off button on the screen? We know that the S550 had a process for that, but I can't find anything on this new offering. The steering is very responsive on this car in certain drive modes and the brakes are outstanding!

This is a fun car but IMO, a Mach 1 or GT 500 is a better deal and are better options until this car is tunable (come on, Ford!), it is a S550.650 and darkhorse is just a trim level.
