weird, 4 days ago I used your method to root. All worked perfectly. Today with the new security patch I decided to unroot. For an unknown reason when I plug my phone my laptop tells me USB not recognized and when I attempt to fastboot devices "waiting for any devices" and stays there.

Any ideas?

just open the "platform-tools" folder then on the top "address bar" select all then type cmd and hit enter problem solved!

In my windows 8.1 when i click path under system variables
There is no option for new or browse instead it shows a small popup saying variable name and variable value, what to do now ?

This didn't work for me. The list under path does not come up. i need help, i downloaded ADB, and the whole android studio 2021 and platform tools and everything..
I cant remember the pattern unlock for my tablet.. but i can unlock it with my fingerprint....
i'm having a hell of a time trying to find out how to disable the pattern lock. please help

Is there anywhere a place where i can find the installer which puts this folder into C:/adb/ and it edits the environment variables? I'm pretty sure that that installer exists, but I can't find it

Couldn't get it to work? Type adb(space) double dash version. That is adb - - version. That works
