Utterly beautiful.. I would love one. It would go well with my Alan Cathcart helmet 🇬🇧😎
ОтветитьYou’re already a bad driver on 4 wheels on a moto you look orthopedic as f
ОтветитьOK, I'm going to sell my soul, just to get a machine like that.
ОтветитьJay was a bad comedian, IMHO, but he is great interviewer showcaser for these mechanical artists. What a beautiful bike.
ОтветитьGorgeous!
ОтветитьThat’s as excited as I’ve seen Jay about any bike.
ОтветитьGorgeous
ОтветитьMeh, I prefer my Toyota Corolla, its more reliable.
ОтветитьOh Jay !! you're mixing up bevel drive and desmodromic valve closing, which its' got both of, love your films anyway ; ))
ОтветитьBrook is born a Kiwi lived not that far from me ( Te Poi) he would have known a great friend of mine Ken Mudford Norton works rider for New Zealand. Amazing guy.
Ответитьone of the best motorcycle engine and frame designs ever, made perfect by modern technology well done V2
ОтветитьDo you need to pay more for one that has working lights?
ОтветитьThe power sounds good, the weight is right, the bars are too low but I get it for a young guy. The only problem is that a young guy can’t afford one, old guys can.
ОтветитьI've watched many of these shows with Jay driving unobtanium cars, but this was the first time I resented him for his wealth. Funny. This bike is 'only' $58k, and I am jealous he gets to ride this, yet his multi million dollar cars did not evoke that response.
ОтветитьWhat a sound!
ОтветитьWhile I love rhs sound of my dry-clutch Ducstis, the modern Ducs actually use a slipper clutch, save for the V4R which is geared toward the track.
Ответить122hp?! Wow
ОтветитьIt’s what Pall Smart rode, not Hailwood
ОтветитьSaw Owen Coles race a Vee Two Alchemy around the streets in Collie, West Australia many years ago. Awesome machine.
ОтветитьNorton did a bevel drive before Ducati.I think Jay is mixing up bevel drive with desmodromic here.
ОтветитьBrook Henry such a humble guy. The one thing I would want is replica continental pipes. Then for me it would be perfect 😊.
ОтветитьBrook an Australian Legend, even 5 years after this vid - bike looks so so good. Having owned a 70's 860cc Ducati I can relate to the machine being as Jay described. Aaaweesome
ОтветитьI'm so thrilled to discover these last several video's how much Jay is a huge motorcycle rider/enthusiast! I thought he was a car guy and just bought and tooled around on vintage motorcycles for the love of history and the appreciation of their mechanical & historical appeal. However he is a big time motorcycle enthusiast from way back! Awesome Jay! I have a bug as well down to 13 vintage bikes including Ducati 900SS, Bultaco's Etc..
ОтветитьYou can tell by looking at Jay face, he is trying to talk himself out of buying this bike or doing the math in his head, figuring the time to drive home, wait for dinner, make some conversation, thinking yes 5 hours I will break it to the wife that I ordered this sexy racy beast.
ОтветитьI owned the 750Gt and eventually traded it for the 900 Darmah . Shoulda kept the 750..that bike you are riding sounds incredible . Dave NZ
ОтветитьSeriously jay, whats bevel drive got to do with valve spring issue? I believe thats relate to desmodromic tech rather than bevel gear.
ОтветитьMore motorcycles please Jay!!!
ОтветитьWow. Worth every bit of what they're charging. Amazing job.
ОтветитьJay, That style of gears are actually called Hypoid gears, not bevel gears.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful motorcycle.
ОтветитьGreat to watch and so good to see some great Aussie ingenuity good work boys and thanks Jay for your genuine comments and enthusiasm on what is clearly a very good product
ОтветитьBellisima
ОтветитьSome Aussies may even have a bit of ingenuity but they have great knowledge about bikes ! Mr Leno congratulations, questo video dimostra che sei un intenditore di moto, ovviamente non sei americano, sei italiano ❤
ОтветитьOh boy, what a sound. Rode Ducati GT in the 80's.
ОтветитьI had a 81 900ss and thought that the build quality was appalling..
I wish that I had bought something else to be fair.. I could have had a BSA Gold Star and a genuine Rocket Goldsar for less money that I saw in a different motorcycle shop..
What a great looking and sounding machine!
ОтветитьMotor cycle are so dangerous
ОтветитьCool bike but that fairing is all wonky. Otherwise brilliant, a bit of a shame.
ОтветитьThis is incredible, would love to own one of these one day as an end goal weekend bike, so beautifully unique and sounds awesome
ОтветитьAnd almost no vibrations. Wonderful bike
ОтветитьI was honestly expecting him to say $100k+, but $59k actually isn't bad at all for a made to order piece of mechanical art like that.
ОтветитьDezdemonic valves 😅
Ответитьbevel heaven wouldn't have a license long with one of these it just looks like u need to give it some throttle and listen to that beautiful V-twin rumble luckily jay has alot more control than me i would have just hammered it
Ответить60k ? Yeah ok. Really, when you can buy six new ones. Thanks anyway.
ОтветитьSix of any motorcycle.
ОтветитьAgostini was the greatest motorcycle rider.
ОтветитьWhat a great tounge in cheek touch I well remember the original road test 750SS where the clear section on the tank had a genuine Italian Fly in the gelcoat, This one I note has a genuine Aussie Redback Spider in the gelcoat on the left hand side up high on the clear fuel strip.
ОтветитьGreat review Jay , I enjoyed watching you enjoy this beautiful bike !
ОтветитьJay, please do a video on the Mike Hailwood Replica Ducati. I don't think you've featured it!
ОтветитьDear lord - just listen to it …
