Russian (Belarusian) painter, member of the International Academy of Cyril and Methodius Slavic Education (Moscow).

The creator of the world's greatest collection of unique paintings with the image of the Madonna-Mother.
Author of the famous series "The Weeping Madonna".

In work of Alexei Kuzmich predominant image of the Madonna, through which he embodies the ideals of goodness, purity and beauty, the pain for the fate of spiritual civilization.
His paintings are inherent characteristics of iconic imagery, at the same time, the faces of his Madonnas represent the generalized image of sublime feminine sensitivity. The uniqueness of his work lies in the fact that he was able to combine seemingly incongruous - the sacred and the secular.

Alexei Kuzmich filmed several movies, written hundreds of articles in major newspapers and magazines.

In 2014, opened a personal art gallery Alexei Kuzmich.

The works are in many public museums and private collections in Russia, USA, Japan, Italy, Germany, England, Norway, Australia, Canada and others.


Сreativity

Creative and way of life Alexei Kuzmich was thorny and complicated. In 1975, on one of the all-union collective exhibitions was presented one of his first professional work - "Young Danae." Then was scandal and 15 years Kuzmich did not recognize, were not allowed to exhibit. Just because of his paintings, he boldly reveals the beauty of the sacrament of the female body with high spiritualityty. The painter went underground and in a small basement continued to create and modify your way. Thus was created a series of works "in paradise." Only in 1989 in the Minsk Palace of Arts held his first solo exhibition at which he presented several cycles of their Madonnas. It was a huge success!!!

Then exhibitions were held in the United States, Italy, Estonia, Russia, Sweden.

For all his life Kuzmich wrote about 1,000 paintings, which depicted the Madonna and child. Through the image of the Madonna painter reveals a variety of topics. Created a set of cycles of works including the buyout: "Weeping Madonna", "Mourning Madonna", "Blaze Rus", "Mother of the World," "Golden Madonna", "Silver Madonna" and others.


Public Activities

Alexei Kuzmich 30 years befriended and collaborated with the Russian (Belarusian) Children's Fund and presented the painting "Madonna and Child" Foundation. Together with his wife and muse Inessa performed at the charity marathon promotions "Give children a holiday", "Our hearts - sick children," "Warm House" and others. He was awarded a diploma "For the contribution to the fund"

Alexey Kuzmich cooperates with the Belarusian Union of Women

He was a newspaper editorial board "Central" (together with Vladimir Gostyukhin and Igor Luchenok)

Engaged in social and public activities and spending in his studio-workshop free tours for students as well as taking various international and Belarusian parliamentary delegation.

His workshop located in the Trinity Suburb included in the list of cultural sites to visit international governmental delegations and guests of the capital took different countries and continents.
