My friend had a Squier Sonic telecaster.Torino red. He forged Clapton's signature on the head stock, and used waterslide decals. Went for £3 K on eBay.
ОтветитьMy mum... Yeah... So how about, like, your dad...? Or something. Yeah.
ОтветитьI had a question about a Squier 70s CV Custom Telecaster about a month ago. Landon had reviewed this guitar. I emailed him and got a response back within an hour. If was much appreciated. Keep up the great work Landon. Cheers from Winnipeg.
ОтветитьYour momma is classic ! Good job man !
ОтветитьBought a Squier Torino Red Sonic Tele today. Love at first sight ❤️
ОтветитьThink I'm gonna get me a sonic tele, cheers landon, nice video
ОтветитьI've had people tell me that I don't deserve my guitars because they know someone who is a better player. It's never themselves who can play.
ОтветитьYou sound way out of tune ! Could you play something instead of noodling that way we may get to hear the guitars 🤨
ОтветитьI'm new here. It's so refreshing to see a guitar channel where the host is a normal guy. I like your approach and look forward to your videos.
ОтветитьYou have a hard time speaking to make videos
ОтветитьHey! Great no.. REALLY GREAT video again - like if - they are, because they are, all the previous videos are also super good.. this makes no sense.. 😊 Anyroad, do you have an email address? I don't mind sending messages everyone can read - in fact I do, so is it possible to send an email - yes everything is W possibility - it's a matter of skills - which I really don't possess - but I'm really nice - not handsome - my mum said I was - but you know mums right 😊
Well I hope you get this message - and reply, please yes please reply 😊
Godspeed and merry Christmas, and have great summer while you're at it!
Kind regards
From Denmark 🇩🇰😊
Best sense of humor!!!
ОтветитьI read Fender asked their pick-up person from the 60's to come out of retirement to make the pick-ups for the George Harrison Telecaster.
Ответить🤣 that was funny,,,good work man
ОтветитьThe red one was out of tune since you were doing something with it... shoveling maybe? I got a blonde Squire for a hundred bucks years ago. It was actually a serviceable (enough) single coil guitar, especially with reverb and buried in a mix with better guitars. Pickup output was low, but it was still bright like one would expect from a Tele. Maybe six months later I got a Fender James Burton signature Tele on ebay for I think $215, so passed the cheap one on to my son. ....as for the losers who complain about your playing, yeah, they're jealous. They sit around the basement with lots of gear they bough to try to sound like actual musicians. That's what big box retailers want. When I was young and putting together my first band, A friend and I were auditioning drummers. We went to this guy's house and he had a full PA and stage lights set up in his (probably mom's) garage. He wasn't too good while he hit every one of the 12 drums in his kit, so wasn't the guys we got. But he felt like he was playing a stadium, so whatever. I once commented on a video with Hendrix doing an interview, and he was asked who the best guitarist is. He was gracious, as expected, because he didn't need to mouth off. My comment was that as an artist, he wasn't competing with others, because that's not the focus. Two dim bulbs replied that I must suck. I didn't reply to the first one, but by the second one, I was sick of hearing the idiocy. I told him flat out that I've played live in front of crowds in the tens of thousands, was paid pretty well to tour Europe a half dozen times, and have had record deals on three continents. I never heard back. Losers like that are the guys who suck (regardless of how many notes they can jerk off with), and have to squeal to pretend they're men. ...ANYWAY, thanks for your videos. They're fun and informative, not recitals. I'm retired in my late 60s (although I've been invited to play a set at a music festival in May, so I just dragged out a bass and guitar), and love to hear people's perspectives and reviews. Good job, as usual. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьGreat playing man! Great video and the George Harrison is so good wow now I want it!! Thx for posting this
ОтветитьYes sir, Ive heard it.
1200 dollars and you can't even play.
20 years later... like to run into that fellow.
Great Video!
ОтветитьI'm really close to making one of those Squire Sonics my third red T-type. Thanks for all of the great reviews!
ОтветитьThe difference is the red guitar you can sit and play
The other one you have to stand, and you know why
Haha.
i'm from canada and you act way more canadian than me ... crazy eh
ОтветитьHey tell us about that LAVA!!!! I love my Lava Me (without a touchscreen)
ОтветитьBuy a Squire, end up the fool. Oh yes. Fool.
ОтветитьHey Joe Strummer enjoy your Squire
ОтветитьHow can I not love this guy? I couldn't if I tried. Superbly relaxing and informative too.
ОтветитьI like the red one better.🤔
ОтветитьAwesome video. Has anyone told you that you have a hint of Bill Murray in your delivery? Dry and deadpan humour works well.
As for the playing, it's refreshing to me as a struggling player to see someone more aligned to us normal folk. These guitar videos where everyone is freakishly good are not relatable. Keep it up!
First time on this channel and idk about anyone else but i love the non serious vibe this reminds me to chill and just have fun instead of expecting so much out of my playing it's a refreshing approach I don't see often.
ОтветитьThe sound for whatever reason is sounding a bit boxy to me, I'm not sure how you are recording the amp for your videos? Perhaps it might be beneficial to use a Universal Audio OX box to bring the best out of the amps and guitars that you review? As for the guitar playing, we all need improvement but since you are running a guitar channel, I don't think it's about practice. It would make sense to get lessons from someone who can mentor your guitar playing through the years and someone that you can build a strong learning relationship with. This way your teacher will push you to explore things you may never even think of and stop you from playing the same shapes and movements on the guitar again and again. Exploring different harmonies on the guitar will also bring out all the nice harmonics and tones in the high end guitars vs the low end ones. So it's a win win situation for your channel to take the positive criticism. I think the fans would love to see you improve and yes f**k the trolls but you have to know that the guitar playing does need improvement. For e.g. I also own that Rosewood tele and let's say ....if you played some lush major 7th chords or other voicings down the neck you can really make that guitar sing and show off the sustain and the vintage pickups. You don't have to be a virtuoso and shred the guitar top to bottom. The guitar is primarily a Rhythm instrument but it's also one of the hardest instruments to learn. A good mentor will take you a long way and do wonders for the confidence as well. Love your channel , I mean well. All the best!
Ответить8 grand 😂 It's not like George played it 😕
Ответить" your mom " lol
ОтветитьPeople really need to be kind to each other ... Love the video 😊
ОтветитьA "Mr. Rogers" kind of vlog beginning minus the cardigan sweater. Nice.
ОтветитьLooks like the control plate is wider
Ответитьcomparison Harrison …
ОтветитьSupply and demand, that’s why they only build so many, $$$ 😮😢
ОтветитьI personally like your more rhythm playing style cause that’s how I play 🤷🏻♂️
ОтветитьHey they don't have to watch right!!!
ОтветитьYeah I like, Right on brother
ОтветитьI like this dude!!!
ОтветитьYour mom trumps all. Wait- you know what I mean, right?
ОтветитьBeautiful guitar the gh….
ОтветитьJust be yourself dude you rock your cool !!!and you’re Canadian!
ОтветитьThe Telecaster changed how I think of and play guitar. Bought a copperburst mim on a whim after 30 years of nothing but thrashing Ibanez RGs. Now I play all kinds of things and styles, but Teles are my faves. F*ck the haters, just have fun, preferably not with my mom... though you are her type 🤔
ОтветитьGlad your channel is getting big traction, you deserve it!
ОтветитьListen man, I don't know.who these people are who are makeing unkind comments about your guitar playing abbility but I can guarantee that none of those guys would be able to carry a tune with a pitchfork!!!
ОтветитьLove this free style vid
ОтветитьI'd give my right hand for that George Harrison telecaster an won't even be able to play it
Ответитьwant a cheap and good beautiful tele? just buy a harley benton, they are astonishing and sound amazing
Ответить
