NVIDIA 40 Series Details... available to only the rich

I don't think nVidia is aiming only to the rich gamers. I think nVidia is testing the market if the "poor" are willing to sell their kidneys just to afford a 40xx graphics. If they don't, nVidia is cutting prices, if they do, nVidia is keeping prices or even rising them.

These prices are relevant to performance in today's media... the 10 series is still relevant for christ sakes... I feel like people should just be appreciating the upgradibility options

Im guessing (hope) that 3080 - 3090ti will drop in price enough after the 4000 series come that it wont be too expensive to get one then...then ill be able to get me a 3080ti.
No chance in hell ill be able to snag a 4000 series so why bother.

With how everything is I'm thinking about waiting for RDNA3 but I will reserve my final decision for when testing is available for all the cards

I’m not buying it cause I got the 3090 graphics card I think Nvidia needs to stop making different graphics cards and stick with their 3060 3070 3080 3090’s for now the prices their asking for aren’t $60 the price of games by the time PS6 is released the best graphics card that everyone really needs will be on sale I upgraded my Nvidia Titian X 12 teraflops to the 3090 that should be powerful enough for another 7 years to play every next gen game those who just go the 4090 who own the 3090 is just throwing their money in the trash and Nvidia is making money out of them

With 5 launches coming, it'll be fun to see how it all shakes out. Not to mention which product actually comes to market too, because chances are high some of it might just be vaporware until we see products on shelves in stores. Then comes the reviews and those will be fun to watch. Then after about 6 months or so, and most of the bug's that will be found has shown will be fixed, I'll start to think about going shopping for some new hardware.

If the new stuff actually can deliver what the rumors hint at, then dang, if not shame on us all and we should really push for a class action suite due to excessive lying at the company side, because I'm sick of these we promise the sun, but deliver a 500 w lamp type of deals we have seen way to often. I got so sick of the insane pricing and the lack of products in the shelves that I more or less stopped wanting the really good stuff because it was disappointing in regards to what we were promised... 15% increase my white ass. real time numbers showed maybe 7% such lies has to end before I trust the companies again, so I wait to see the results of the tests and the reviews. i suspect I'll be disappointed again, but then I want it all powerful, cheap, blinding fast, storage for years all run on a 9V battery, well maybe not that last bit, but it's the idea that counts.

Will they keep the whispered promises this launch? The review's will tell us.

i use to buy every 2 years a new nvidia gpu, because there price are for the rich i buy a new gpu now every 8 years when i absolutly have to. my 1080 gtx is still running and nvidia wont get my money if they dont come with good pricing.

I went with a 3090 Ti for my recent build. To me the value wasn’t there to make me want the 40 series. The 4090 in particular just too expensive. Our Micro Center nearby had 14 4090’s on the shelf and they did not seem to be selling that fast. With tax that card would have been just over $1,800 😮

Since the NVIDIA page was updated AFTER we filmed this. Here is some extra info. First Partner cards are visible on the site so you can see what they look like. Second, the 12GB 4080 is a shaved down version of the 16GB, not just in the amount of ram, but its also 2,000 less CUDA cores... this is similar to the 1060 3GB vs 6GB and its a slimy move... it makes it look like a 4080 but for all intents and purposes it is NOT. Its really more like a 4070.
