People, don't just go to Bali because it's the more famous place. Same with the Gili's. If you've already been to them, give Lombok a try. It's not as big of a party place but the beauty is insane. It's way less crowded. Plus the people there really need the money for survival. The August 2018 quake hit their tourism very badly in that year and 2019 (the year I went). Governments around the world were telling travellers don't go there. Then just as they were starting to recover, Covid hit them (and the world) in 2020. So it was a back to back, double wammy. They haven't had it good since before the quake. So give Lombok a chance and you won't regret it. Tour the beaches in the south. Help out the less busy warungs on the beach. You might be their only customer that day. Imagine sitting in your warung waiting all day and only 1 customer comes - or some days NO customer comes. How do you feed your family or pay your rent? So go to Lombok and spread the wealth a little. Bali doesn't need your business every year. It's becoming overly touristy. Lombok is Bali 30 years ago.

Actually i prefer more to Lombok rather than Bali, bcuz in Lombok there's a ton of scammers & quite expensive .
Lombok nowadays had more beautiful and stunning places to visited, even the locals are nice and friendly.😊
