You complain about taking the same potions over and over to stack effects beinh gone(an exploit) and then complain about the duplicate glitch being an exploit that Bethesda didnt catch. And if you use the duplicate glitch properly, you can stack permanent effects in the same way you could stack potion effects. Thats just one bad critic out of many. This isnt a video about Oblivion being bad. Its a video about oblivion not being Morrowind. If you like morrowind more thats fine. But to shit on oblivion, which for me was much more fun, because its different than what you're used to is stupid.

Oblivion is the best elder scrolls game. Skyrim was pretty good but had little replay value without mods. Morrowind was great but felt like a slog at times and the melee combat was honestly atrocious. Oblivion wasnt perfect but its a ton of fun to become a god among men and mer. The magic system was better than its predecessor and its sequal. Outpacing the enemies power was actually pretty easy. First playthrough I did, I accidentally min maxed. I didn't even know what min maxing was. But I ended up becoming far stronger than my enemies at around lvl 20. The feeling of progression in my power was palpable. And the quest were undeniably better.

Easy solution if you cant run Oblivion, Just play it on an Xbox 1 or Series S/X lol and save yourself the headache!

I just started playing Skyrim again, and was immediately reminded that I dislike the faction quests. They are nothing like the ones in oblivion- how Bethesda took such a huge step down in narrative storytelling is beyond me. I might just have to install oblivion for the first time in a decade.

Tbh I'm quite sure Oblivion came with a manual that had the numbers you asked for character creation. I remember making certain choices for my first character based on that information.

You robbed yourself not using Darnified UI, QTP3, Blockhead and OCOv2. This game can look good. I utilise all the mods I mention and more through MO2, for Morrowind I use OpenMW which I mention only because your an idiot for not using it during your Morrowind playthrough.

See I’d take QTP over the graphics extender, and I’d take OpenMW with Morrowind Enhanced Textures over Oldwind+graphics extender. You should try it, you missed out.

I think Oblivion's alchemy system is a good representation of English cooking

As someone who spends 50 hours in the character creator. Oblivion always angers me for how I can't make a decent looking person.

There is almost no understanding of alchemy, encumbrance, fatigue, or really anything about oblivion in this video... I'm shocked a review is this popular just because he uses a silly voice and makes fun of the game, without understanding anything that he is talking about.
