Buy Low Sell High Fixing up Cars for Cash | Car Dealer Simulator Gameplay | Part 1

Kage it's GREAT to see you in this game! First advice is on towing. Early game all cars you buy are drivable. You can simply run to get them or if far away you can hit the X key to extend the ramps on the tow dolly and then drive the car you're buying onto the ramp after you buy it. Much easier than backing into it.

Last advice on this video, sell all your cars with only a little red showing (1/4" of red). Customers will always lowball you so price high and you will always sell for more than market value.

You don’t need to remember. There is an arrow on the fuel gauge that tells you just like real life.

The little arrow on the gas gauge points to what side the gas tank is on. These are in cars in real life as well. Good tip to remember if you ever drive a car your not used to driving.

The photos need the 7 points not 7 photos

I wonder if the junk yard lets you get cheaper parts to fix vehicles just like in real life? Would be interested in seeing that at some point

Tips, if you can, run to the cars to buy them and drive back to base, that way you don't have to use the dolly
Wash your truck and repair it, you get higher rep that way, showing up to buy a car in a banger isn't a good look.
When deciding the price to sell a car for, scan it first so you know the market value and how much money you have "in it", then in the ad make it just high enough so the "bar" turns red and is like 1/5th of the total bar length.
When selling, if you have made sure the bar was just in the red, you'll have a nice high starting price, so the car is only worth 7000, you have put it up for 10,000 or even 12,000
The buyer's first offer will be low, like 5000 , so you come back with 9700 (if you put it up for 10000).
The buyer will come back with, say, 7000, now your even so anything higher is gravy, you could ask 8000, but this will be the final offer from the buyer, so whatever they say, either accept or reject.
Don't drop your price too fast, but don't just throw out numbers either, you'll get the hang of it.
When buying a 7000 car low ball the first offer, so 4500, the seller then comes back with 6850, your second offer just a bit higher at 5000, the seller then says 6100, this is your last offer, so again either go close 6000 or accept.

Couldn't you just drive the car onto the dolly, instead of backing the dolly under the car?

About the painting. If you need that much paint you'd be doing a full repaint of the affected panels, you'll never manage to match the new paint with the faded old paint 100%, wich would leave a poor finish.
Any painting you'd do without a full repaint would be fixing tiny nicks and scrapes

You don't need to keep hooking the cars to the trailer. Just drive the damn cars, it's easier.

Just run down to the seller and drive car back to your shop ,leave your trunk and trailer there at your shop.😊

Couple things kage 1 I was going to get upset if you didnt use bloodbath & beyond. 2 for backing up with a trailer it's counter turns so if you want the trailer to go right you back turn left and vice versa

But ive been watching your videos for a while now and they are super entertaining, abd they make some of those restless nights not so bad :) The perfect mix of funny, informative about what you're doing, and soothing. You don't need to take 7 pics you only need to capture 7 points of interest which can be done with two photos. Also, when buying used cars at the start of the game look for low mileage vehicles they will bring more profit. This will change as you progress and unlock better tools.. i'll say no more lol

if you press "X" when you are doing the body work it'll show you where you need to sand and puddy.

Kage if you hit your scanner before sanding it makes it show in yellow exactly where to sand.😊

Dont buy the tow truck for 30k. I picked up my first vehicle and when dropped it off im my repair shop it jump out of the map. I mean it shows up on the map but outside the edge of the map. Reset the game and there it sits where I cant recover. Another thing, be careful when buying vehicles. I bought a van not realizing it was half spawned inside of a patio table and well there it sits unrecoverable. I am reputation level 9. There are A LOT of bugs in this game and I am sorry but for 20$ NOT ACCEPTABLE. 10$ I could understand. Lets see if they actually patch this game. Thank god you got the game for FREE, I would not recommend this game to anyone until some real patches have been made.

The rust sanding seems right, but the putty you used is bondo, which is for holes in cars and leveling dents. Its mostly right, just exaggerated a little. You also should primer before you paint.

The easiest way to reverse with a trailer is to chase the trailer. If it turns to the left you turn to the left and it will steer the trailer the opposite direction. Works irl and in games

You need to be a lot more aggressive with your pricing and negotiations, otherwise you will take forever to make much money

Hey kage, the reason you didnt have the progress bar was because you took the car to the washer before finishing the quest objective. I do that all the time when i replay the beginning. From now in you should have the progress bar.
