Ответитьgreat training
ОтветитьExcellent vid!
Do you guys think you'll do a series on the OBD modes?
N/W Scotland
A quick and easy test on the Jeep engine would be to use a vacuum gauge. The needle would show large vacuum drops, indicating that the engine had valvetrain problems.
ОтветитьThank you , I been looking for this for a very long time . 👍
ОтветитьUhhhhh....”explaining” Oscilloscopes and not knowing all their functions like AC Coupling!?
Ответитьgot here late but i enjoyed it. thank you for this video
ОтветитьGreat presentation, enjoyed the case studies. & liked the idea of the tackle box for organization.
ОтветитьThank you!!!!
ОтветитьWhich model of pico do you recommend for automotive testing(at least 4 channel)?
ОтветитьWhere is the discussion about the answer to your question, please?
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьWho had the waveforms that he mentioned on Facebook
ОтветитьSwapnostics😂😂😂😂. Love your videos. Learning a lot as diy'r. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhy eleven minutes of nothing?
Ответитьgreat info mike many thanks for the lesson
Ответитьreally interesting class
ОтветитьV useful
ОтветитьYou are very generous for providing this kind of stuff free of charge. I guess I should also include Eric O, Kieth, Dan, Ivan ,TBT and all the rest that do this sort of thing as well.
Most industries these days are trying to make money on information. This IMO is a shame but understandable.
I however, find great joy and satisfaction teaching someone a skill that they may be struggling with that will help them be a better "fisherman" If you know what I mean....
You, (your company NGK or Wells) as well as the other folks I've mentioned I believe are of the same ilk and I want to acknowledge that and offer my gratitude.
All of the above mentioned have not only saved me, my family and friends a good chunk of change but also helped hone my critical thinking to a great degree that transcends purely automotive diagnostics....
Respect!!
Trim the fat out of this video!
There’s only 40min of usable content here. Very annoying.
How can you save known good waveforms on the new Snap On Tridon or Zuess? Looking to purchase 1 and have had a tridon loaner I've been using a couple weeks now, but curious how saving data on the snap on stuff works? Specifically the tridon or zuess? Thanks, your content is some of the best for us diag guys imho
ОтветитьThese kinds of videos are simply amazing. Came here after watching a video where Eric O from South Main Auto recommended you guys. Keep up with the good work! Glad to learn every day!
ОтветитьThank you for your videos Mike, really helpful!
If you were looking for a scope for your commercial shop, would you buy a 4 channel scope or an 8 channel scope?
Saludos maestro
Ответитьyou will never know just how much you help people i am just starting down the scope road at 64 years old can't work as hard as i used to so getting into more diag. i watch scanner danner, eric o, pine hollow, s&a,TST, iatn everyone i can find just started with practical mechanic doing the wave forms each week what a valuable service everyone does. i posted questions almost instantly had the answers i needed. keep up the good work.
Ответитьi have the vantage legend and the uscope so far
Ответитьvalves get dirty and stick on 3.7 and 4.7 common they now make a rocker arm with something on it where they don't jump off
ОтветитьThe snap-on scope seems counter intuitive to use. That is probably why I have never been happy with it. In real life most people take a picture of something and zoom in to see more, Not zoom in take picture and then zoom out to see less.
ОтветитьIs the pico7 better than the pico6
Ответитьis it bad to have a/c wave on a camshaft sensor on a 1999 Toyota RAV4. I'm getting the P0340 code. bought a Picoscope and found that the sensor is putting out A/C wave form. Is this Normal? Can't find a Known Good Wave form.
ОтветитьPut the Laptop on the scope !
ОтветитьSo after all that, wouldn’t a compression/ leak down test be more efficient? You still remove a plug to test with labscope.
Ответитьmusic is great while waiting...whats the name of the song...all guitar.
ОтветитьGo Tech Mike Becker Good Afternoon take care
Great tutorial thank you 👍

5.7 hemi cam gets no oil and the lobe wears out. Its starts with the hemi tick, then on to failure.
ОтветитьThank you for this video !!!
ОтветитьAnyone that works for these people wanna edit this video? 1m20s in, u get a 10m timer. I'm at the part where it's just the timer saying 9m54s. I know I can fast-forward, but guys come on lol! Seriously! A child knows how to edit that junk out! Have ur kid do it or something!
ОтветитьDo the tires have to be remove in order to do this?
ОтветитьCan this set up of yours be used on Diesel motored vehicles ?
ОтветитьHow does one get paid for diagnosis? Is it done by charging hourly. The case study showed 1.6 to do a compression test but the relative compression test made things more confusing so you had to do more testing. I'm curious as to how long it actually took you to figure out the same thing. I'm not knocking the labs cope method just trying to figure out how I'm to pay for a labscope that I have to buy. If your doing the same thing faster should I get paid the same as doing it with the gauge. Not sure if I'm really asking the question correctly or if you would understand how I'm asking it.
ОтветитьWhat is that light bar hanging from the hood? Kinda brilliant.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI HATE the latest Microsoft Windows! They push those damn updates in the middle of your work! Happens to me and others all the time these days!
ОтветитьThanks for your vids G! Appreciate ya!
ОтветитьTech A is correct!
ОтветитьNO! I'm still here!
ОтветитьLove your videos Mike!
