Good stuff SG. That shop is amazing! The prices for the rapala lures seem similar to nz prices. Did you bring any softbaits or lure back with you?
ОтветитьHello sir, i am from Spain and i Will go to Tokio in june. Can you say me where IS this shop...i cant find It on Google Maps...thank you so much.
ОтветитьGreat vid I have to go there and empty my back account one day 😂
ОтветитьI wish I had money to go there and learn their language
ОтветитьWalk into a Japanese 24 hour fishing tackle shop to the sound of return of the mack, outstanding!
ОтветитьOmg
ОтветитьI'll say the Japanese luv good
Music.
Return Of the Mack as you walk in... pretty good sign my friend
I work nights and go to Walmart here in the U.S..in.the middle of the night to go shopping.
Unfortunately after the pandemic they cut their hours and are no longer open at night.
Does very much of the population there actually fish or is there enough rich people jam packed into the country that there is still enough people for fishing. I can't imagine owning a boat and car in Japan where it takes multi-generations just to buy a house to even park a car.
I kinda wonder if they have so many pack rods there because they have to take everything on a train? to go fishing.

ОтветитьNice travel for fishing store in Japan! Hello of Canada😉
ОтветитьI love the range of left hand reels, pretty much non existent in australia.
ОтветитьI'm not coming outta that store with out spending $2k-$3k easy.
ОтветитьSolid vid. Where in Tokyo?
ОтветитьWay too many lures , would not get even 2% display in the UK , we are more into fishing with FLOATS and natural baits .our seat boxes are a little more advanced than just plastic .
ОтветитьI actually found this a bit boring to be honest , too much emphasis on soft baits and lures , this don’t work in the uk , where are the long poles etc , did not even look at or check rods on display ?.
ОтветитьWe used to have a store in the US called Galyans, back before it got bought out by Dick's Sporting Goods. Anyway, they had quite the selection of fishing gear for a general sporting goods store. From what I can see, it was about a quarter of the size of where you recorded this. I wish this place was open when I was in Japan (1976-78).
ОтветитьI think there are other 24 hour shops in Okinawa in Japan
ОтветитьWow what an awesome place
ОтветитьThanks for putting-in the time to show us a real, well stocked fishing tackle shop in Japan. It is amazing how fishing tackle shops are all different in different parts of the world, based on the different fish targeted and caught and the different types of fishing techniques used to catch them, regionally.
A totally different fishing world than our Eastern Pacific, Southern California and Baja type of saltwater fishing, that we do here in those parts of the United States and Mexico. (Yet, the freshwater bass fishing gear we saw within your video is interchangeable, with most all parts of the bass fishing world found here in the United States and Mexico.)
whats the name ? or address? thank you
ОтветитьJapan makes all the best squid jigs.
ОтветитьMy wife walked by and looked what I was watching and said, you're sick. I said yes, I am hon. she said I know.

ОтветитьHi, I will be going to Japan in June, I am planning on visiting a couple tackle shops, may I ask, the reel price I notice their is a big red price number but below the red price number there is a smaller black number that is a bit less. Is the red number msrp and the smaller number below the actual store price?
ОтветитьEdit to my comment, I translated what the smaller price means, it is before tax price @ roughly 10% less which is their VAT. Is this tackle store a tax exempt store for foreigners? With the current exchange rate those Stella reels are at about a 35% discount from USA prices.
ОтветитьNice. Return of the Mack greeting you. They surely has a good taste in music 😁. Japan is so advanced in recreational fishing. One of the item in my bucket list is fishing trout in Japan and New Zealand using an ultralight gears.
ОтветитьThis is all made to catch the angler , all those silly colour are not needed to catch the fish .
ОтветитьGreat Video my man would love to go there and scour their ebbing rigs and soft lures.
Ответить😮🇬🇧😁👍
ОтветитьDamn. Can pick up a Vanford for $230-$240 cdn over there. Huge savings from what it costs here.
ОтветитьHow about adding the NAME of THE TACKLE SHOP in the title or EVEN in your video introduction OR in your written introduction?????????????
All I see from you is "..a tackle shop". Golly, you really suck at explanations don't you?!!!
That was a very interesting video. Loads of kit we don't see here in UK. Now following you!
ОтветитьAn Aussie Kayak fisherman based in Hiroshima prefecture for the next few years. We did have a 24 hr store here, but it's only open from 4am to Midnight now and is similar in range to the store you visited . Not much I can find going on Kayak fishing wise in Hiroshima region but there is a scene up towards Tokyo.
ОтветитьWhat is the tackle shop name
ОтветитьDo they take credit card or do you need cash to shop? I would like to visit this shop when I go to Japan in a week. Thank you
Ответитьwhat's the shop called?
ОтветитьGreat video, the variety of fishing tackle in Japanese stores are to the point where you get lost.
Bear in mind that even though Joshuya us a chain of stores they don't stock the same stuff. Each one sort of specialises in a certain field a bit more than another one.
For example the Shibuya store you'll find more Daiwa Certates and Saltiga reels with more saltwater poppers than the Ikebukuro store.
You're not worng about not reading Chinese mate the Japanese borrowed the Chinese writing language.
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьWow
Ответитьi'm visiting japan this month and i can't tell you how much i appreciate this long video with views of the price, blown my head how much im paying these exact lures in my local store
