real God send these vids i was thinking of trying these as the venue i started fishing is a natural venue with zebra mussels in it so was thinking these would be perfect but tbh i wasn't sure what the right way to fish them.. so your vids have given me loads of confidence going forward with this approach. really enjoy your vids even tho i'm not a match angler as they're really inspire me in my fishing!. thanks matey. 👍

Yes most definitely. Also chopping a few up to offer the Fish a few token gestures is not a bad thing i have found but i have found personally do not put in ground bait just a cup in situation in not deep water . Best of luck

Just finished watching the match after fishing a session myself. Inspired by you I fished mussels for the first time in probably three decades,! Did what you did and although you constantly have to revise what you're doing I took the place apart even though the other anglers I could see were struggling. Great day thanks to you.

Brilliant, after watching your first video , tried to use the slop as a paste and it disintegrated to fast so added a bit of fine ground bait , won my section with double the weight , but messed up by not using pieces , next time I’ll do it 👍 still learning 😂😂

Pleasure fished mussels after your vid on Saturday, hardly anyone else on the lake caught, not counting but I recon I had 60-80lbs in a few hours on them, unbelievable bait, I’ve noticed on the mussel there is a little eye of fat, and figured that’s the best place to hook it.

Get a jar of cockels for the hook there perfect size
