Oreo Ice Cream With Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker

This recipe explains how to make Oreo ice cream in a Cuisinart ICE-21 Ice Cream Maker. I followed the Simple Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from the Instruction and Recipe Booklet and added Oreo cookies.

Ingredients:
1 cup whole milk
¾ cup granulated sugar
Pinch salt
2 cups heavy cream
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
15 oreos (or your favorite topping!)

Materials:
Ice cream maker
Medium mixing bowl
Container to put ice cream in
Whisk or hand held mixer
Measure cups and spoons
Rubber spatula

Yields:
About 5 cups (ten ½-cup servings)
