NEW T'au Empire vs Chaos Space Marines Competitive Battle Report

On today’s Art of War Battle Report, Richard’s dataslate improved Mont’ka Tau Empire takes on Nick’s brand new Cabal of Chaos Chaos Space Marines!

As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. Stay tuned to see how vastly improved the Tau army rule is and see the best Possessed unit in the game in action!

Richard’s Tau list is led an Ethereal with Strategic Conqueror and a Fireblade with Coordinated Exploitation. Supported by a unit of Kroot, two units of Breacher Teams, two Devilfish, 3 Riptides, 3 Hammerheads, two units of Stealthsuits, two units of Pathfinders, and one unit of Vespid.

Nick’s CSM list is led by a Daemon Prince of Nurgle, a Master of Possession with Mind Lance, and a Sorcerer in Terminator Armour. Supported a unit of Cultists, 4 units of Legionaries, two Chaos Rhinos, a unit of 10 Possessed, two units of 5 Raptors, one unit of 5 Terminators, one unit of 5 Warp Talons, and 3 units of 5 Havocs.

Today’s battle will be fought using the new Chapter Approved 2025-2026, Mission O, Terraform Primary, Crucible of Battle Deployment on Games Workshop Layout #1!
