This Video looks at the life of Stucco Artist Pat McAuliffe who enhanced the façades of over fifty prominent buildings in North Kerry and West Limerick with his much sought after style of decorative Stucco work. However, his greatest work is undeniably in the much loved façade of the WD OConnor building on Lower Main Street, Abbeyfeale.
The Video was recorded over the Summer of 2023, and forms part of a set of 11 short Heritage Videos that look at the respective stories and historical aspects behind some of the Locations, Heritage Plaques, and/or Monuments that make up our Abbeyfeale Heritage Trail.
