Canadian Hockey League - CHL

The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) was founded in 1975 and represents the three major junior hockey leagues in Canada.

Western Hockey League (WHL) - 22 teams, including five clubs in each of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, one in Manitoba, five in Washington, and one in Oregon.

Ontario Hockey League (OHL) - 20 teams, 17 Ontario-based clubs as well as two based in Michigan and one in Pennsylvania.

Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) - 18 teams, comprises 12 Quebec-based clubs as well as six teams in Atlantic Canada (three in New Brunswick, two in Nova Scotia, and one in Prince Edward Island).
