Beef is expensive in Thailand because we don't eat big animals as it's to shjow respect to a certain goddness. We tend to eat more fish, seafood, pork and chicken. We don't touch beef very often

Question- What is the name of the currency there? The BAHT? Cause IF SO that means those brown plate for 35 baht are = to $1 american dollar....(95 cents) How is that so cheap?!?!?!? I just don't understand how these businesses can make a profit and pay their workers..... I know it's the american in me but I want to understand this!

My only issue is the pot of soup being a bit too high up to retrieve. Would be better if it were at a lowered level.
