Hi Tim and Gaby. I love the room and what an experience to be able to stay in the war rooms/Raffles hotel. The history alone sells it. I am glad they also do a free historic tour to discover more of the history behind the building.

I loved working there until it was closed. You couldn’t actually see any higher in the first floor in the foyer. Everything was covered up with ply board and they literally had to concrete the basement.

Casper looked adorable in the suit! Parts of the hotel seemed quite noisy though. Raffles is very close to Big Ben - did that disturb you at night at all?

Mate you have just spent £2,300, which would have been far more if you paid the correct price for your upgraded room, and all you got for it was a kiddies tent and pencils, a couple of drinks, a meal and breakfast, also the worst view in London looking onto hoards of tourists, non stop traffic and horse poo. I think the ceiling lights looked like the old gas lights would have looked. Plenty of booze to celebrate Churchill, a known alcoholic and disgusting cigar smoker. Lovey architecture, decor and original fittings.

You do not return to the Hotels that you visit,do you think they review your videos,? And then make adjustments to their rooms and the attentions to details you always notice when they fail. Can you sing ?

I love your videos. I’m also a former Four Seasons exec & I want to help you with your pronunciations. First one: Chaise longue (like “long”). Also sah-kay which I think you got near the end. And … I think velvet is a crappy upholstery choice for sofas that get a lot of use - blame the designer. 👀

Hi, Tim! I only recently discovered your channel and have been enjoying your videos. I would suggest you visit Velingrad in Bulgaria- which is the spa capital of the Balkans. All hotels there have mineral healing water in the pools and are absolutely impeccable in terms of quality and hygiene. Our favourites are Maxi Spa Hotel, Infinity Spa Hotel, Cashmere. Breakfast is always included in the price for a night. If you travel from London to Sofia, you then have a 2 hour drive to Velingrad. Do take Gabi and Casper for a nice spa vacation with lots of mountains around the hotels and enjoy tasty Bulgarian food. I am sure you will love it! Tim, the horses only stand duty for an hour. Horseguards used to be the ceremonial entrance to buckingham palace, now its military barracks and MOD offices.

Oh my gosh, this is the best hotel yet, I'd love to stay there.

The room was nice a little dark for me they should have those larger mechanical closets locked for children's safety. I liked Gaby's drink I think. Sake is pronounced sakay more than sucky and it's great hot. What a nice sommelier to show you the feature drink. I would have demanded they re-clean my room for the amount you paid. You both look stunning in evening dress. I agree the seasonal decor should come down. Otherwise I would love to at least visit the hotel for a tour if it were possible not in my budget to stay but would eat there. I am surprised they didn't also do a feature from who played Anthony Valentine who played Raffles in the tv series one of my favourite of his roles. The pool area is fabulous I would have tried that. Your end points made sense I suppose it was worth what was paid noting your notes. The history alone would be something. I hope you did a little photo to keep at home for him Casper looked sweet in the uniform :)

Goodness! I was shocked by the price of your room! I've seen far nicer, cleaner, amd more luxurious hotel rooms on your channel for less. Fascinating history of the place, and Gaby looked stunning in her dress. It's a shame how people don't make the effort to dress up anymore. Casper is gorgeous! OMW we had 1 here in the usa and now its gone but my mom my brother n me got to see what it looked like after ww11 over . Talk about secrect tunnels , Bomb shelters and gas tombs wow so much history it did look like a major general beautiful inside with the brass hangin down beautiful pictures of people all black n white before the war and after what a change in the world it made. I respect you Tim and beautiful Gabby with Adorable casper.
