There are all kinds of privacy and security issues here. If you really need to use GET parameters, use an uniquely generated token and lookup the corresponding values in a table somewhere.

How can I do something kind of like the example on the Elementor announcement:

Signup form with "Name" and "Email" fields. After submit, redirect to "Thank You" Page, but where I can customize the "Thank You" by pulling in the "Name" field from the form on the previous page.

I have a WooCommerce site and I'm trying to integrate a 3rd party billing company named CCBill to work with my site. When the customer completes the transaction he is redirected to a Thank You page along with a long query string (which includes his first name, last name, amount of purchase, etc.).


I was hoping that this tutorial would help me figure out how to dynamically populate a Purchase Confirmation form which shows his first and last name, the item(s) he purchased, the total for his purchases, etc.


But so far...I can't get it to work.

I want to set a Button Text and the successful Submission text to a predefined text - so that i only have to set the bindings in each form/button and dont have to write the same text on any page.

what Elementor-Pro don't tell you is, shortcodes of form fields ar not working in same environment. It just don't period.

The UTMs that Calendly generates are in the form of Time&date...all together...and in the form I can only use either time or date...any idea on how can I capture both in one field?

The Request Parameter option is super interesting, I didn't know it and it is helping me a lot.

Do you have a video explaining how to use it in select fields with various options and labels, for example:
label1 | option 1
label2 | option 2

The explanation you give in the video works if I do NOT use a label in the options.

Great! I can add into a form, but why can I not redirect the form to a page outside of WordPress with the post or get information attached. I'm not talking a webhook. In html I can add action="new page.php" method="post" or method="get" - why is it so difficult to do this in WordPress/Elementor?

Please explain us how to insert a GET parameter in the URL with dynamic "post_id" in a text or a button (not a form). Why is it so complicated ?
