Another cool annual event is the FIRST international robotics competition, where high-school students get together to build and create a functioning robot for a game that changes every year. It's a really cool concept and is widely known in my country.

This is crazy, to hear the words "because of the current political climate regarding science" in the year 2025! Sounds like that should belong to 1025.. it would make more sense! Like science had anything to do with politics, science doesn't have opinions and how stupid you have to be to think that you are right and prove you are right by trying to ban all the science that might prove you wrong.. you don't probably have internet for long anymore, it's a lot easier task to keep the propaganda going if you don't have other countries influence from the internet rather than trying to ban other countries to do science...
