Not to be punning the mac or anything, but david you do know about the chemicals apple has refused to take out of their products, that do horrid things like destroy earth, deplete the ozone, or give people cancer. Why dont mac take out those chemicals that pc comp's have already tooken out? o.O

Apple is still close source mate, you got to fight for your software rights!

Kernel panics are usually caused by either hardware errors or serious software issues. I used to receive kernel panics on my PowerBook a while ago, but then later discovered it was because I was using defective RAM. Try running the Apple Hardware Test on the disc that came with your Mac. The diagnostics should tell you if there is a problem. Good luck and thanks for listening!

hi david i have a macbook 1.83GHz and i was just wondering how do i get my icon pictures on my desktop to my .jpg pic?

Do macs crash or freeze? I've herd rumors but i'm not too sure.

Honestly, anything can crash. However, Macs rarely crash like PCs sometimes do. My Mac runs 24/7 and I almost never have problems. The only time I restart is for system updates or if I feel like resetting my RAM usage.
