Here's a simple pre practice workout I created. I go through all 12 major scales with four exercises for each scale.
1) Play up the scale for two octaves and back down.
2) Play the major chord arpeggio for two octaves up and back down.
3) Play the major chord triad in root position, 1st inversion and second inversion up to the second octave and back down. played as broken triads.
4) Same as above but not as broken triads. Play all positions as triad chords.
