'Halo' is formally opened, 14 August 2012

The formal opening of 'Halo' by Lord Mayor Clover Moore was celebrated with a gathering of 200 friends of the project on Tuesday 14 August. It was a joyous occasion for artists Jennifer Turpin and Michaelie Crawford and the team of engineers, fabricators and specialist consultants who brought it to life. Frasers Property and Sekisui House commissioned the $1.3 million kinetic artwork, which is a gift to the City of Sydney.
