Warzone 1 Vs. Warzone 4 - What Went Wrong?

One thing that i have hated since i started to play wz (so basically when i played first time wz1) is that you can pay actual money for blueprints to your weapon to make them work better and even unlock them by doing that. Usually it is justified by the fact that everyone can buy them, but well everyone can also buy cheats if they want. i personally think that buyable blueprints makes an disadvantage for players that dont actually want to spend money to unlock guns. I know i might be only one with such an opinion but this is just true.

Yeah I gave up on cod. It's terrible network issues along with worse optimization.

old warzone was peak, amazing maps guns were not too outlandish, 2 had very cool modes like paint ball and armored royal, sucks they removed them

If they can only bring back warzone 3 which is almost perfect.

Me personally, I think that warzone 1 graphics and movement was better

In 2025. Warzone... no 1vs1 2vs2 5vs5 no Search and Destroy no modus bruh. And i dont pay all 2 years new Black ops ect just for that and Passes skins. Lvls wo is gone after 2 Years and no Updates becose new black ops 7 wtf

i tell you what went wrong: the menu is very annoying becouse you need to restart the game 5 times and the most important problem is that the first warzone in terms of graphics it was not that different from now but its way more performance heavy and so most of my friends cant play it anymore even tho we could all play the first warzone and not everybody is an adult and can buy a 3000 dollar gaming computer..

If they really wanted to earn they should have just made the WZ1 and Rebirth1 a subscription base game with $10/year or something people would still have paid for it. There was no need to integrate the WZ into new COD.

There's a glitch you cant switch your weapon at all you have to get downed to switch to your primary but you can't switch to anything else not even plate

That's exactly why I don't play call of duty because players complain about recoil and not being able to hop around like a bunny rabbit and shoot. It's for kids, it's an arcade game for kids, that plays more like Fortnite than a realistic shooter. In 2025 they can't even create destructive environments so any 12 year old can sit on a building and snipe. It's a pathetic game and franchise

You know, i can understand why they deleted a warzone 1. If they will doing like an entire game for mw 2 and mw 3 (im not counting cold war and vanguard beacouse this IS on mw 2019 engine) this will be cost a much, and it was gonna be just dont cool. Imagne, you want to download a warzone and you got shocked with freaking 4 games!

I play mouse and keyboard on Xbox (for movement) but don’t stand a chance against aim assist, not necessarily close distance were movement might be a problem with hard to aim controller but being lazerd at medium to long distance is insane

WZ with MW3 was the best we had after WZ2019 and now we have it wore again...

The only good thing modern warzone has is the reload while sprinting. Thats it.

I loved Warzone 2s gun and movement system… for DMZ! that was the perfect combo for people like me who don't snort 4 lines of blow and down 8 cans of Red Bull while playing COD. a shame that both DMZ and WZ2s changes didn't last.

WZ1 was simple gritty slow paced and just filled with fun and crack up conversations with the boys

Go try Fortnite. We quit the week BO6 dropped when we saw that there wasn’t a new map. We won’t be going back to CoD. the cheaters didn’t take over the game until around Cold War dropped. At least, that’s how it felt. That is really the reason that my crew basically quit. The only thing that kept us in the game was DMZ which was great. As soon as they stopped supporting it, we finally quit. So, my #1 reason is cheaters and I have no reason to even try the new stuff since the videos all say cheaters are still there
