Quick MAME Setup on Steam Deck

It seems like no one really covers step by step how to get MAME properly working on the Steam Deck, running it through EmuDeck and Emulation Station.

The default cores that EmuDeck (and therefore RetroArch by association) use for MAME don't work well for a lot of people. So the trick is to install the stand alone Linux version of MAME and then tell EmuDeck to use THAT instead of the core.

This tutorial assumes that you've already installed EmuDeck, bios, and roms into their respective folders, and serves just to show how to install a stand alone MAME and run it through Emudeck. If you need help setting up EmuDeck, bios and roms, there are many other videos on YouTube covering that already.
