I don't think it was Gregory who made the elevator fall. I think it was the Mimic because when Gregory is speaking, we hear a weird sound like the line is being interrupted. Also, when "Gregory" says "But we can't risk being followed. I'm sorry," his voice difinitely changes. It sounds more robotic. Like, please tell me i'm not the only one who noticed the change in Gregory's voice.

Remember how he says "I'm sorry" either 1 he had to do for some short of sacrifice 2 that wasn't even Gregory it was the mimic mimicking Gregorys voice 3 to keep her from going home and leaving the mall/pizzeria 4 for nothing at all just to betray her ( opinion)

My theory is that the “WE” Gregory was talking about was Himself and Vanessa

And that would explain why Gregory took to the extreme of leaving her behind because Vanessa being with him could have explained to him that Cassie would be vulnerable to Afton

Umm, in the books, the mimic was actually built to entertain Samuel, Henry Emily’s son, and the mimic also had a protocol to mimic the voice and words/actions of something it sees, giving it the title of the mimic, so it must have seen good ol Willy Afton doing some mredering and bad stuff, and copied it. Later causing it to try and kill Cassie, so this means the entire time, the mimic was just following its protocol. There is also a theory floating around that the mimic is endo 1 and 2 in the first two games, so gamersault, you might want to look into all this info I have told.

Am I the only one who thinks Cassie could potentially become a villain in future installments?

If this is true about Cassie, that she is permanently connected to the Freddy Fazbear augmented reality system, then the ending where Vanessa leaves with Gregory wouldn't make sense even though, to me, it's the most logical explanation as to why the mask is left in the Pizza Plex in the first place, and not to mention the secret Fredbear ending, because why would Gregory be ok with leaving with Vanessa since she would also be permanently connected to the Freddy Fazbear augmented reality system?

Actually, if you paid attention to the previous game “Security Breach”, Freddy Fazbear states “This elevator is dangerous, it doesn’t seem to go by the same safety protocols as the rest of the building. It seems it’s only good for ONE USE”.

Meaning that whether Gregory did it or not (It wasn’t Gregory) it would have failed anyway.

Knowing this, Gregory wasn’t the one speaking to her, it was Mimic. Even after she barely made it inside the elevator that WAS ALREADY GOING TO FALL, Mimic was just outside of the elevator.

The creator confirmed that the actual true ending was the one where Vanessa, Freddy Fasbear’s living head, and Gregory make it out alive.

That means Gregory was never IN THE PIZZERIA TO BEGIN WITH. Mimic is the reason she thinks Gregory was responsible. The REASON Mimic WANTS her to think Gregory is responsible is so she could direct her hatred towards Gregory instead of William. Mimic is a data copy of the William A.I. The intention behind it was to get her to become possessed but even after wearing the mask, she was too strong for it to possess her. So mimic needed to weaken her body in order to do so. By that time, Gregory already made it out.

Someone below me commented that this could have been a “ martyr “ like ending that Gregory didn’t know if it was really Cassie or not so he cut the cords 😢

I think its the mimic we speak to because I dont think Gregory actually knew about any of this to begin with, and we did still have the mask with us and the impact thing helpi gave us so the mimic could still contact us through there.

2031: Vanessa was tested on a vr game that talks about the Faz bear incidents. she was transferred to the Pizza plex mall.

2034: Vanny killed 13 kids at the lost and found room. Gregory, Freddy, and vanessa survived and leaves the Pizza plex. an unknown worker was tested on a vr game that talks about the incident at the Pizza plex. Cassie entered the Pizza plex when the mimic used his Gregory voice. Cassie was injured and unconscious but survived. rosy found her and escaped the Pizza plex and made their way to Gregory, Cassie, and Freddy. Cassie was sent to the hospital. she then wakes up in her patient room and sees Gregory, Roxy, Freddy, and vanessa checking on her. Cassie is happy to see them.

I don’t hate the game but the story is confusing now

Tje secret fredbear ending is really creepy. It suggests that Cassie doesn't escape or appear to attempt to run after putting the Vanni mask on and seeing the vr image of Gregory sitting on the hill with Helppi. Even the captions contain Cassi's panicked breathing and the sound of her donning the Vanni mask.Did she basically stop and stare at that fredbear sign while the mimic caught up to her? Did she just lose consciousness somehow? What physically happen to her?

Why would Gregory attempt to direct Cassie away from the Mimic in the tunnels only to turn around and betray her the last second? I think it's the Mimic still messing with her while it climbs onto the elevator's cables from above and cuts them to stop her from escaping. It is strong enough and has no regard for it's safety seeing as to how it rips it's own arm off. I imagine it knows it can survive the fall and repair itself but Cassie can't.

my theory is that when gregory said that they couldnt risk being followed, its refering to the mimic tracking cassie by using the transponder implant that the V.A.N.N.Y mask give cassie

I dont think Gregory killed her, it made no sense how he could tell her where to go when she was running away from the entity and it makes no sense that he knew if the entity was right behind her or not. And if Cassie is all the way down in a cave theres no way shes getting signal to the above

My theory is how he mentioned Cassie was the host of golden Freddy n it’s funny how we didn’t see any signs of golden Freddy all these games but what if the next game golden Freddy is found when Cassie wakes up trying to hide from the mimic n finds golden Freddie’s body

I got the feeling one of the other 2 is more likely to be canon. I mean fnaf has a history of makeing a secret ending or another one more canon then the mean one. Like it was thought afton was destroyed it the horror building. But the fnaf sl secret ending reveals he got away with out a scratch.
