Why Do Some Countries Get Rich While Others Don’t?

There are no free countries, they are either English, Asian or German controlled. The United Nations makes it look like there is more going on, but all the laws governing those so called free nations are either owned by or highly influenced by English law. China and Germany are the only rivals, and both China and Germany are dictatorships of which whose laws would align more along the lines with other dictatorships such as North Korea, etc.

May I add that the free press makes it difficult for governments and businesses to be corrupt and that corruption is the real root cause of poverty? So: freedom => free press => less corruption => much more prosperity. You can take the list of Transparency International and you'll see my point.

You fail to also state that those "prosperity map" are also the biggest human rights abusers and imperialists outside of their countries till today. And that the "poorest countries" have experienced the most exploitations and even till now middling, sanctions and foreign planned and funded coups and assassinations on their revolutionary leaders, and by these same Supremacist imperialists who had an upper hand in the beginning.

And even now there are established Western interest-centered imperialistic and predatory "world" organizations adamant on keeping these "poor" countries poor and underdeveloped.

Your video and many like it doesn't even tell 10% of the entire story and truth (typical), but an example is the France's actions and predation on its former colonies as exemplified and exposed by Niger, Mali and Borkina Faso and the fact these countries have become the fastest growing economies since separating from the West led grip.

First off, material and financial wealth must be distinguished from wisdom, sustainability, genuine happiness, and human flourishing. The relationships between these are likely complex and varied. Not everyone finds meaning in the endless pursuit of greater material wealth. Second, what about the distribution of the material wealth inside materially these wealthy nations? Dividing the GDP by the total population of a country gives you a number that, by itself, tells you nothing at all about the material wealth and financial security of its people as a whole, let alone about their wisdom, happiness, or flourishing. Is the sector where the most money is concentrated doing things are good for humanity as a whole and good for the planet?

One thing I’m seeing is that countries that are strong allies to the United States are the wealthiest while countries that are in opposition are poorer.
