Toshiro looks the same age and size of Karin but hes one of the stongest on his team(cause hes captain for a reason) and hes old enough to be her great grandpa. Hes like a hot cold vampire. They get along perfect though and would be adorable together. Hes more of a protective brother to mom and Rangiku would just seem weird with him. They have a captain and lieutenant relationship and they are opposites in life styles. Plus everyone keeps thinking shes his hot mom.

Rangiku is one of those hotties of the class that everyone has crush on. But you pay no head to it because of competition. Then one day all of sudden she starts talking to you, and starts showing interest in you and you are left surprised.

For two characters that are usually upset or serious, they smiled a few times around each other. Sadly, it's non-canon since it's not in the manga but the animators owe the audience at least one episode in the current run and at least a couple of scenes in the manga, even if it's a flashback, to show that they did actually interact to make it canon.

Unironically, I would totally watch a spinoff series of these two.

People are so concern about the age difference, chill out it's anime 😂 Toshiro's still a child in Soul Society's age system thus his appearance and he's also the youngest captain. besides if it's your problem just look at Isshin and Masaki so it could still work out 😂
